It may not be as big a barrier as you want, but Kingyo Sou is about a girl falling in love with her friend's deaf brother, and deals a lot with communication issues.

so far Koe no Katachi and Kingyo Sou are the only two i havent read or ruled out already. koe was good, but was lacking in the romance department so far, hopefully there is some serialization because it looks like it will head that way. it's pretty interesting tho so ty for the rec..... male lead has got to be one of the most infuriating characters i've ever seen tho XD. would have payed to punch that annoying brat right in his face.

havent started on kingyo yet but ty in advanced since it looks like it'll be good ^^


first chapter of kingyo, saw the drummer guy and realized i'd already read it v-v. well koe was ok for a oneshot guess i'm pretty much done with everything translated in this genre ;-;
