I wouldn't call central Asia "western"...

Big second for Emma and Miriam... nothing else is coming to mind...

Gunka no Baltzar

Fictional countries, but where the inspiration comes from is pretty obvious.

Cesare
Thermae Romae (sort of?)

Think I remember posting to another one of your threads... oh well, here it is again lol.

Cesare
Cantarella
Historie
Vinland Saga

Second Emma and Miriam.

There's one more that's pretty similar to Historie and Vinland Saga that I just can't put my finger around the name. >.<

I'd also try searching within these: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=european%2Bambient& genre=Historical&exclude_genre=Fantasy&perpage= 50

It's set during the Great Game (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Game) which involves England and Russia. And the main character in the latest volumes I read (3-4) is Henry Smith, a British guy. I don't see why it shouldn't fit just for the geographical setting, it's not like Historie stops to be about Western History once Alexander the Great starts his Asia campaign...

this is a must: Versailles no Bara! It may be a fictional one and some details are incorrect or made up but it includes French royalties and revolution later on

Orpheus no Mado is also an excellent manga but I don't think it's scanlated till the end. If you can read Japanese and find a raw version of it, you definitely should try it. It includes another Western revolution and the journey of the main characters span from Germany to Russia which I find really fascinating! This one is one of my all time favorites biggrin
