Is it just me or does this look very similar to bleach?

Is it just me or are all shoujo manga/anime art style look very similar? Or Fairy Tail and One Piece? Don't see the point you are making, it is slightly similar but what manga/anime is 100% original in art style. There are extremely few that actually are.

Oh, no no. You got me wrong. I was thinking if maybe the artist of rebirth knight is somehow related to Kubo Tite? Maybe he worked as an assistant for kubo tite or something? It looks way to similar to be a coincidence, imo.

Don't believe he is related to Kubo since he is not even Japanese, and highly doubt the assistant theory. People can learn from watching other art styles and assimilate it into their own you know? Also their art style is really not that similar, the facial expressions of the characters are somewhat similar but that is it. There are parts that may look the same but whose manga does not look like someone else's art style once in a while?

To me it looks suuuuuper similar to bleach in some scenes. I also wondered if there was some sort of relation.

It's not really a bad thing though, as the art style is really nice. Looks clean and crisp. I'm leaning on the influence theory as opposed to pen name or assistant.

And yeah a lot of series out there look similar in their art style. At least this author picked a good style that fits the series.

Yeah, in my opinion bleach is one of the more "stylish" manga out there and my personal favorite when the art is concerned.
Personally, I think it's way too similar to be just influence, but I also think that that's the more plausible theory. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Perhaps Kubo has died and acts as some sort of a mangaka equivalent of a Jedi Force-ghost? He is actually advising some dude who is "ghostwriting" Bleach for him and is, at the same time, giving advice and pointers to this Korean fellow.

Something like that? biggrin

Or not. Imitiation is a form of flattery. No need to look for hidden connections that aren't there.

The MC is a 100% copy of Beelzebub's protagonist, Oga, though.
