I made a search plugin for mangaupdates. It works on Firefox 2 and IE7. I included two search plugins for baka-updates (title search and group search).
Download Here (rapidshare none )

To install in Firefox 2 just extract the contents to this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<randomcharacters>.default\searc hplugins
If firefox was open restart it, then it should be added to the search engine list.
For IE7, i don't know, google.

How-to-create-your-own guide and more info here:
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Creating_OpenSearch_plugin s_for_Firefox

I hope it works for others.

Did you add this to the FireFox search plugin page?

No and I don't know if you can add your own search plugin there.

I believe you can add the firefox one via this link: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/submit.html and thanks for putting the effort to creating the plugins biggrin

It seems it is easier if you just install this extension: http://https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3698/. Oh well, thanks to everyone who used what I made.

Np, it was only a little effort. shy
That submit page doesn't want to accept my plugin. I made mine manually copying from already existing files on my searchplugin folder so it is missing some tags that page is looking for. The firefox extension link I gave produces the same result to the one I made so those tags must be unnecessary so I'm not gonna bother adding it to that page. Just install the extension it is more convenient and you can use it to other pages with a search form. smile
