I'm a newbie in the world of yaoi novels and I'm a bit hooked at the moment with this.
Can you suggest any yaoi novels with a good story line. I don't want novels that focus too much on the details and to hell I get bored easily. I want a novel that really catches my interest and focus on the emotion of the characters.

I recommend strongly Better Than a Dream and second S (Novel)

There's lots of American based companies that have yaoi novels as well.

I'm so glad you liked Utsukushii Koto

Try stalking the awesome translator (she has two different sites). Hako no Naka (Novel) seems like it could be pretty good (I'm not too far on it yet), and while you are there, you can check out the magnificence of No. 6 (Novel). It's not really flat out yaoi (it's more focused on their relatipnship in general), but there are certain scenes.... I think you'd like it.
