Just finished reading Gantz's latest chapter (269) and honestly i feel like i may as well be blind, since I can't make out anything that's happening. I do like the artwork and storyline, but too many shades of black make me go WTF is happening!?

Any other manga's in this category?

yea i couldn't make much out this chapter....

but as far as other manga go....i guess I'd have to go with Island, for the first two vols anyway, the art is great...but i could hardly make anything out...

Yeah only people who can think fast get everything that's going on, it was just very fast paced so people didn't get it. I remember reading some manga a while back that I just couldn't get but I don't remember the name of it.

Trigun left me in the dark a lot.

Yeah, especially the final battle. Couldn't figure out wtf vash was doing until the explanations.

Yay for adding a shoujo: Vampire Knight. WTF? My friends and I always end up having a meeting once a new chapter comes out to try and figure what's happening with the plot and what the pictures are supposed to be because they all end up blending into each other, being all dark to get the "moody" look. It's so annoying!!!

I was lost.. Didn't get anything, everything was messed up..
I'll pick it up again someday.. But not now..
I just don't feel like spending days thinking about it>.<

I don't really see the problem with Gantz though..
Maybe if you read every chapter only when it's out, and not looking into the previous one. Now that- can be confusing...

to add my 2 cents regarding shoujo, I agree on Vampire Knight. Hitting the discussion boards is a must to make sense of each chapter. Also Nana because of all the flashback and flashfowards and characters with same name.

Worlds. I hardly could tell what was going on half the time. I'd help if the scanalators themselves didn't make the shading quite so dark.

It wasn't that bad some of the time.. but most of the time it was bad.

He didn't mean Gantz as a whole, he just meant that some of the fights are blurry like the most recent one in Gantz. You couldn't see what was happening.

Really? I loved that manga. Generally, assume that the main characters are anticipating trouble or are in it and trying to find a way out.
