I remember that it wasnt particularly long. There was this one scene between a boy and a girl where they compared heights by hanging upside down on a pull up bar. The girl made fun of the boy because he was long bodied and short legged or something like that. Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure I saw something like that in a relatively recent anime (2 years or less), not a manga. The scene happened with other classmates around iirc and they were teasing the guy too.

I'd guess : Ginga e Kickoff!! The MC is short so it does fit. I might be wrong though since it's a bit of an anedocte.

it wasnt sports based and it was short. Under 13 episodes i think. Or a couple manga volumes. Thanks though.
