This year's 14th issue of Shueisha's Jump Next magazine announced on Tuesday that Ryƫhei Tamura is ending the spinoff of his Beelzebub manga, Beelzebub: Bangai-hen (Beelzebub: Extra Edition), in the magazine's next issue on March 13.

The original manga's story began with delinquent and first-year high school student Tatsumi Oga. Tatsumi attends a school for troublemakers where he is lauded as "the "strongest juvenile delinquent." One day, Tatsumi pulls a man out of a river only to have him split in half and reveal a baby. The boy is Beelzebub, the son of the Demon King and now Tatsumi's responsibility.

Tamura launched the Beelzebub spinoff last May, after concluding the original manga in Shonen Jump in February 2014. He began serializing the original Beelzebub manga in 2009, and Shueisha published the 27th volume last June.

The original manga inspired a 60-episode anime series that ran from 2011 to 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
