I've already played many different game genres and I thought I'd try and branch out.
Genres i've played:
RPG (action, tactical, turn based etc)
FPS (includes third person shooters)
RTS (war games etc, god games, sims like games)
MMORPG
Platformers
Rhythm games (guitar hero, DDR, patapon etc)
Dating sim (ive tried one once)
action games (god of war etc)
fighting games

Anyone know of any unique type game? Preferably PC game and preferably not really high specs, as my computer is kinda old.

Have you played the original Black and White (better than the sequel, imo)? or Stubbs the Zombie? How about the Heroes of Might and Magic series? There's also Galactic Civilization 2 and its expansions, as well as Civilization 4 and its expansions. The Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate Series (If you play the first, there are some mods you should get, so you might want to PM me) are pretty quality as well, and so are Fallout and Planescape: Torment (though Planescape isn't known for its fighting system, and I've heard its rather painful for current gen gamers). There's also the Sam and Max series, if you haven't played them, as well as Grim Fandango.

I know you've said you've played all these types, but you can really only get novel variations of them, so that's the best I can do.

Like I said before, Black and White is somewhat more enjoyable than its sequel. It has much more emphasis on your creature.

The Might and Magic games are different than the Heroes of Might and Magic games. Might and Magic is a first person perspective RPG, while Heroes of Might and Magic is some sort of turned based strategy game. It's noted for being a unique battle and exploration system. If you want to try it, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is usually thought to be the best in the series, even if the graphics are a bit dated. If it REALLY bothers you, you could try Heroes of Might and Magic 5. Make sure to patch the hell out of it though (Admittedly, the game was a little unfinished when it was released).

Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale are RPGs that plays in a style similar to Warcraft. You have a fixed overhead perspective, you click and drag to select characters, you right click to have them walk. However, since there are only 6 characters under your control at most, it's far more focused on character improvement. Baldur's Gate series has a long epic journey with a strong basis on plot. You can start at Baldur's Gate II without missing anything important from the plot. Icewind Dale is far more combat based, but still has the story and NPC interaction of an RPG.

Katamari Damacy? that game is unique.

You could also try some puzzle games. Probably my most enjoyable puzzle game i've played was Crush on the PSP. Seeing as you've played patapon you must have a psp.

Maybe some action flight simulators? Driving Games? There aren't that many other genre's out there... none

Since i saw you mention god of war, i suppose you own
a PS2... if that`s the case you should try
Shadow of the Colossus
it`s a really unique game that differs greatly
from what i usually play.

On the Pc you should play
max payne 1,2 if you missed them
and of course baldur`s gate and Planescape
torment.

If you like you could also try Syberia.. i usually
don`t play adventures, but this one is really a "diamond".

That`s just some games i remebered right now... there really
are a lot more to mention but i`m sure other people will.

I won`t get into the japanese rpg section right now cause i would
say so much you would get bored, if you are interested in this topic
just PM me.

If you're bringing up point and click adventures, I think grim fandango should be mentioned as well.

light gun shooters(or any wii FPS)
or id recommend this one old hybrid pc game
hostile waters it's tactical, you have ai vehicles, you have to recycle scrap metal to build more vehicles, you can go manual third person shooter on it, have to be selective on how you take out the enemy oil production and then them. plus you can get it on amazon for like $1.50
