Nuclear apocalypse becomes fuzzy for me (and some others from what I can assume) to imagine, because it depends on what kind of version of it we'd refer to when making the decision.
Would it be like Fallout, or perhaps The Road? Hell if I know.
With the ice age, not sure what it would be like in this modern day and age. Would available resources come from scavenging, or will there be enough plants + animals capable to survive the harsh conditions and be abundant for us to hunt and gather?
I Am a Hero zombie apocalypse I'd consider to be the worst case scenario. While in the US where it shouldn't be tooooo hard to find a decent gun, Japan would probably be impossible to find one. And then when you do manage to get your hands on one, you not only have unique zombies running/jumping/crawling after your ass, but other humans wanting your weapon as well.
Just throwing my thoughts out there on the topic. meh

Wow... all these options are pretty grim. The worst ones would be super volcano eruption, alien invasion, asteroid catastrophe, Earth on Fire, and failing technology.
Ice Age - This one is harsh, but humans have gone through one of these in the past---surely we can do it again.
Earth On Fire - There is a chance for survival if scientists have prepared fire/heat-proof buildings with indoor vegetation. Either that, or we all die. There's also chance of using the sky as shelter, but it's pretty grim.
Rapture/Hell on Earth - We're SCREWED unless somehow we become useful followers of some really strong monster/demon/creature.
Robot/Machine Uprising - Terminator level or Matrix level? The terminator one doesn't sound as bad as the Matrix uprising.
Ape Uprising - I actually wouldn't mind this one. It sounds a LOT better than some of our other options. I don't mind abandoning my pride and ego to become a pet if I can live a decent life.
nuclear holocaust - ... So like, everyone gets cancer and die prematurely? That sucks. However, this world might actually be inhabitable if we have proper equipment.
Simultaneous natural disasters - This is essentially the setting of the manga 7 seeds. It's a harsh scenario, but there is definitely ways of surviving.
Super Volcano - Okay we're dead. There's just no way of surviving the eruption of a volcano. Once it erupts, it will change the climate of the entire EARTH... plants will die, animals will die, and the atmosphere will be filled with ashes. The Oxygen level in air will change, so we won't be able to breathe. It doesn't matter if you're on the opposite side of the world: the volcano eruption will STILL kill you. And if you don't die immediately, you will have breathing problems--- and then die.
Disease/Viral Pandemic - How would anyone survive this for long unless he/she is a scientist with special lab? The worst viruses are airborne-- so you can get the disease just by breathing the same air as a diseased person...Vaccination might not be available during the pandemic, so you can't get prevention.... Yeah, this would be pretty bad.
zombies - Grim and sad situation, but not impossible to live through by any means. A zombie apocalypse will definitely change someone's personality forever though...
vampires - I'M DOWN!!! Vampires can't kill all humans if they want to live, so there's a chance there! And vampires also wouldn't be interested in living in certain conditions, so there are places to hide. This definitely sounds better than the other stuff on here.
dragons - Not so bad... We have always thrived despite the various animals around us that can easily kill us. A dragon is not the end of the world.
monster/alien invasion - This actually sounds horrible. If aliens decided to take over Earth, they probably will be very cruel to humans.... I wouldn't want to live in this apocalypse since the aliens would be smart and strong---there are little chances for a decent life.
asteroid catastrophe - SCREW THIS. We're dead. It's time to evacuate Earth and head towards Mars... Oh wait I'm not invited to the secret spaceship program...well, **** It's time to kiss your family one last time---you are all about to die in a few hours/seconds.
global flood - Hey, I like fish. I think I'm actually okay with this. A seafaring life doesn't sound so bad.
overpopulation - I don't understand how this is chosen as the "worst" by so many people. Yes it's horrible, but it's not impossible to live through. Y'know, it's never too late to start cannibalizing...
mass infertility - YAY we won't have to worry about condoms anymore. Time to crank out that sex drive. Actually... mass infertility would lead to global panics and war... lots of people will die... It's time to migrate to some distant island/forest and live away from people for the rest of your life.
Technology starts failing or global EMP - No more internet? Oh no.... And no more medicine...? I think we might be screwed, guys.

Just pointing this out, the overpopulation one isn't just overpopulation, it's also loss of resources. So someone may not have voted for overpopulation, but for loss of resources, which are slightly different things.
