I used to when I was really into anime but that was a really long time ago (almost 10 years ago). But after a year or two, I wasn't that into anime anymore and I didn't have that much time for it either so it just faded out with my decrease in anime.

I agree with this. I also think it has a lot to do with the fact that less people are into anime compared to dramas and most of the good dramas are K-dramas. With exposure to K-dramas most people make the transition to K-pop as well and then they get easily sucked into it. At least that's how most of my friends who are into that stuff ended up. Additionally animes are characterized as being for children so I would say that has to do with the lack of exposure to J-pop.

i like jpop, but anime songs have another quality, maybe because it's produce for an anime. But i like j-rock o j-hip hop (i don't know if it's the right term) the most. biggrin

Tried it, didn't like it.
I'm not much of a pop listener in general.
Only the occasional indie-pop, I guess...

Not J-Pop but J-Rock, L'Arc en Ciel used to be my fav one, but it's One Ok Rock now. Ah but i do like YUI too..
