I was wondering what everyone here listens to when working out (that is, assuming you do some type of exercise that allows you to use an mp3 player).

I do a lot of running & biking, so I use my ipod a lot. typically, I listen to crappy pop music that has a fast beat. I also have some random dance and techno music as well, like stuff by Hinoi Team (Ichigo100%'s ending song is by them).

how about you?

(I looked for a topic like this and didn't find one. sorry if this is a repeat!)

I usually just get everything on my mp3 player and play it on random, but if I don't like the song that's playing I'll just go to one of these:

Can' Stop, Turn it Again, Dani California, Storm in a Teacup, a bunch of other songs - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Prayer of the Refugees - Rise Against (most of their songs would fit on this list)
Sleep Now In the Fire, Killing in the Name Of, Bulls on Parade, Renegades of Funk - Rage Against the Machine
Elephant Bones - That Handsome Devil
Pollute the Sound, Arterial Black, Cataracts - Drist
Bleed it Out - Linkin Park (aside from this song, most of their songs before their minutes before midnight album would easily fit on this list)
The Pretender, Stacked Actors - Foo Fighters
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Believe - The Bravery
Behind the Mask, Collide - Anarchy Club
Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
Out Of Control - Hoobastank
Paralyzer - Finger Eleven
Pardon Me Anna Molly - Incubus
Supermassive Black Hole - Muse
Salt Sweat Sugar - Jimmy Eat World
Smooth Criminal - Alien Ant Farm
Lover Boy, Ready Stead Go - L'Arc~en~Ciel
Get9, Run Rabbit Junk, Cream, Lithium Flower, a bunch of other songs - Kanno Yoko (GitS SAC OSTs)
Tank!, Ask DNA, What Planet is This (Live) - Kanno Yoko and The Pillows

-some fast paced nine inch nails songs like survivalism or remixes
-Tengen toppa songs (the battle ones and the opening theme)
-Skill by JAM project (I think that's who they are)
-Rage against the Machines songs
-Dir En Grey (I've been listening to Child Prey a lot)
- Audioslave (Cochise mainly)
- Call the Doctor by Sleater-Kinney
- Boondocks by Little Big Town

after that, i usually go random

I don't work out, but if I did I'd listen to what I usually listen to.
Arch Enemy, Headphones President, Corrosion of Conformity and Dir en grey would be a good choice eyes

I'm kind of surprised how many people listen to rock and metal when working out. Normally, I listen to rock, indie, or alternative, but it doesn't help at all when I work out.
