At least the series is pointing ti a certain direction now right? I mean, if the author wanted to, he could just keep on continuing these games with defferent aliens over and over again.

I don't think It'll end just because the timer is counting down 7 days though. I hope when that timer ends, a whole new plot will develop.

I think things are looking good for Gantz.

What if the end of the countdown will be aliens totally swarming earth? Would make more sense then a nuclear war, I do agree that this just seems like a way to wrap up the series, unless they prevent the earths destruction and have to fight again. Or if they don't save the world, then they have to go into space and have an arc there. Unlikely, but for a series about killing aliens, it doesn't seem to focus enough on why they're here, why they're being hunted, why they're killing us, or anything like that, but as keel said one answered question gives birth to 30 unanswered ones.

I felt a bit anti-climatic about this chapter. Besides the end of the world development, the dialogue and emotion was poor and absent respectively. No tears? No hug from Reika? No cheeky a$$grab from a newly revived Kei-chan?... such a wasted chapter.

What about Kato's blushing because he was talking to kei?

I haven't read Gantz in like 6 months... are they still fighting the aliens in Osaka that they've been fighting for over 3 years of monthly releases?
