Ok, so I'm making this thread because I want to know how all you guys do it, and hopefully pick up some tips. Also, I hate to say this, because I'm bored...

EDIT: This entire thread kinda only applies with people with 20-30+ things on their wish list, but anyone is free to post.

Me, personally, am too lazy to use the 'with priority' thing, so I made up a system using rating and a system of numbers which is pretty simple, and generally corresponds to a certain site, which changes after I read everything currently on my wish list that is on one site.

So, using the rating system, heres how I organize it -
1 - Not completed/actively scanalated (140+ days without a scan), no scans at all.
2 - Completed, but not on the current site I'm organizing my list by.
3 - Ongoing, but active, and on the site my list is organized by.
4 - Active, but not on the site I'm organizing by.
5-6 -Haven't thought of anything yet/needed them.
7 - Ongoing/Active and not on the site, but I know where to find it.
8 - Completed but download only. Since I don't like downloading stuff unless I have to, this will generally be for things I have had on my list a REALLY long time.
9 - Completed and on the site. =D

So, how do you organize yours? Pick through it randomly, look the the entire thing one by one and pick one that suits your mood, use the priority rating thing, or some other way?

I probably don't use my wish list as intended. It's full of stuff that I wish was being scanslated but isn't (usually stuff from authors or magazines I've enjoyed other works from but sometimes just random stuff with yuri and ecchi tags). Stuff that is being scanned that I plan to read in the future when I have time goes on my On-hold list.

Of course, neither is long enough for me to worry about organizing. Only my reading list has any real length, and it's small compared to a lot of people here.

Well, I used to do that, but my wish list just kept on getting bigger and bigger because I didn't bother to read any of them because I couldn't find any certain ones I wanted to read.

So, once it got to 80 manga, I had to have a system. XD I just couldn't keep on looking through 80 different manga every time I wanted to read 1....

*sigh*
That's good when you have 80 series on your wish list... But what if you have too many like in my caste... I haven't even read some that are on my reading list(just the first chapter).

In your case you can do the same thing as me, but it'll probably be more effective because you have less titles on your wish list.
I go to the "advanced search by genre" and click on " Only show manga on my wish list", then I either go through all of them by rating, or I tick the genre.

Good luck with the list^^

Edit: Oh my... I currently have 966 items on my wish list... User Posted Image

laugh

I put my 'wish list' of the series that are scanlated onto my reading list, and the ones that are not scanlated get put on my wish list.

So my reading list doesn't accurately describe what I've read or not.

Same here. Anything that I'd like to read scanned or not goes in there.

I've got too many mangas on both my reading and wish list. I don't have any real order either. If I find something which seems interesting to read, it ends up on the latter list. However, depending on its status (completed/scanlated or not), it gets promoted to my reading list (even though I'm not necessarily currently reading what's on it). Nevertheless, my complete, unfinished and hold lists are pretty accurate.

I don't even bother with a wish list...

I only have reading and complete list., simple is best.

Oh, I used to do that too...but my reading list got too big that it's starting to get difficult to search for stuff in there to recommend...

I organize by Alphabetical order, though I haven't done that in a while so it's a mess right now.
Last night I was going through it to decide what series I should try next. I felt like reading something short, so I just looked for one-shots.
I can't remember what half my wish list are when I look at their titles...
