Seems interesting from the description. I haven't read any of it, but I might check it out though.

Guyver is good, though I admit I havn't read any of it. I wish a group would pick it up and do all of it.

I own some of the American Volumes, the American anime DVDs of the old OVA, aswell as both American made live-action movies.

The current tv series is pretty good, too.

Still, I wish someone would pick up the manga.

If you like Guyver, you might like either Fist of The North Star or Bastard.

Fist of the north Star was pretty decent, and Berserk was just plain badass xD

as for Guyver, I haven't read the manga, but I watched some of the series that was released in 2005, I think I'll try it out manga-wise, looks promising since I'm into the whole superhero get-up. :3

The chapters avaliable on the net are mostly out of sequance. Which sucks, as it'd be awesome to read this in full. I'd love to completely read Bastard too, as Dark Schneider is an awesome character in general.

I agree with Nazaki, Berserk is pretty awesome. If you like Guyver you might like Berserk.

cool, I might check those out!

you said you wish a group would pick up guyver, but are you aware of 'guyver advocacy'?
is that what you meant when you said 'out of sequence'?

I am the founder of the site that does it, so I can tell you that the group will not concentrate on the first 8 books because they are already available in english.
the group might work on the first 8 once we have exhausted all later books.
but we have done a fair bit of the manga. I think only 3 books to go (19, 20 and 21) and then we can think about maybe doing the earlier books.

The first books are no longer avaliable in English at all. They're no longer liscensed, and are out of print, at this time. The main problem is nobody can find the books, even if you want them. I have one of the volumes, somewhere.

damn, I should have updated this.

we decided that we would like to get the first 8 books done. but we don't have the italian books for those, so we would need to recruit a japanese translator for it.

but we are in favour of doing it so hopefully we can get a translator and get them done sometime soonish. cool

I know that I'm over three years late for this, but Guyver does have Italian Translations on mangahelpers: Guyver.
I was going to read it, but I can't read Italian, and didn't want to use a translation device for each line XD.

I wish there was somebody who could keep this updated. I would do it myself but I need to concentrate on keeping our site up to date. there's a lot to be done.
the page lists Guyver advocacy as inactive but we are very much active.
we release every single month and are completely up to date.
also, we have a new team member helping to release the earlier volumes now.
I'll update the guyver page here with our releases but i'd like to request if there is anyone here who reads guyver and comes here regularly, is there any chance you can keep this updated please?
