Yeah, 300 pages in 2 hours? How quick do you read? It would take me about 5 to 6 hours, too. I've been reading since I was 8 and I'm still pretty slow, maybe because I haven't been reading as much anymore.
Well, I've been recommended the Twilight series by so many people but I have yet to start reading it. Is it really that good?
From my earlier list, I have finally finished Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in French. Then, I moved onto Le Petit Prince, not that hard to finish since it was only 120 pages or so. So, I'm reading Le Vol du Siecle (children's book) for French right now.
Still reading Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe for Spanish. The first book in a language is always so hard for me to finish, wonder why. But, I'm also planning on reading Harry Potter 1 in Spanish, just requested it from the library, so have to wait 'til it's brought in.
I'm rereading The Truth About Forever from Sarah Dessen again because it's a book club book that I recommended. I like several of her books but there are a few bad ones so watch out.
Oh, also, I liked Ender's Game. I tried to get my sister to read it but she wouldn't because it's sci-fi and she doesn't read sci-fi.

well from a normal sized book a page of it takes about 40 seconds maybe 45
and i said less than 300 pages but ive read some that are 300 pages it just depends if ive read it before (if i have read it before i read it more slowly) and how much i like the book
ps. well ive been diagnosed a mild asperger syndrome it might have some part to it
ps. theres more at wikipedia if enyone is interested
Asperger syndrome (also referred to as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger's disorder, Asperger's, or AS) is a condition on the autistic spectrum. It manifests in various ways and can have both positive and negative effects. It is typically characterized by issues with social and communication skills. Due to the mixed nature of its effects, it remains controversial among researchers, physicians, and people who are diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.
A minority of clinicians dispute the view that Asperger's syndrome is differentiated from other autistic spectrum disorders. Instead they refer to Asperger's as high-functioning autism (HFA).[1] These researchers argue that the key difference between Asperger's and autism — normal early development and lack of any language delay — is a difference in degree and not kind. Early in life people with AS can have learning disabilities. However, IQ tests may show superior intelligence or very high memory capacity in diagnosed individuals.[2][3]
The diagnosis of AS is complicated by the lack of standardized diagnostic criteria. Instead, several different screening instruments and sets of diagnostic criteria are used. AS is often not identified in early childhood, and many individuals are not diagnosed until they are adults. Assistance for core symptoms of AS consists of therapies that apply behaviour management strategies and address poor communication skills, obsessive or repetitive routines, and physical clumsiness. Many individuals with AS can adopt strategies for coping and do lead fulfilling lives — being gainfully employed, having successful relationships, and having families. In most cases, they are aware of their differences and can recognize if they need any support to maintain an independent life.[4]

I am such an idiot, I meant to put hyperlexia, not hypergraphia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlexia If you don't know what that is, either. Sorry about that.
In other news, I can read roughly a page per minute, sometimes a bit quicker, so I also run out of books quickly. I only have one book by Sarah Dessen and that is Just Listen, which I thought wasn't too bad. My parents have the Ender's Game books, but I haven't borrowed them yet and the Twilight series is similiar to Sarah Dessen's book because it is a first-person romance, and I truly enjoyed the first one (wasn't crazy out the second one).

Sorry if the desription didn't match, but I don't know you, so... But maybe we can change that, right?
I haven't read Dragonlance, but I've read the Forgotten Realms books. A friend had two of the Collectors Editions (you know, where four of the books were joined together?) and my brother got me another Collector's Edition for my birthday. I can't remember the title at the moment, but the cover is purple.
And yes, Twilight is fantasy, but a romance fantasy. I could give you a quick summary if you want...?

Okay, well it starts off with Bella Swann (the girl who narrates) arriving in this little town up in Washington where her Father lives. She has spent the summer with him since her parents got divorced, but her Mom is getting remarried, so she wants to get away for a while even though she likes the guy her Mom is marrying. Anyway, she's all set to live with her Dad, and starts going to school there, making a few friends instantly, but the person that really catches her eye is Edward Cullen, who is basically the heartthrob of the book and adopted son of the town doctor. Their first meeting isn't that great, but the next one is and it doesn't take Bella long to realize two things. One: She's in love with Edward. Two: Edward (and the rest of his adopted family, for that matter) happens to be a vampire. After that, the main plot kicks in and everything else would be close to spoilers.
Thank you for the booklist, I'll make sure to check them out, and don't bother with the summaries, it would take a while for all of those. 🙂

really ? well you did well 🙂 well im gonna but the summaries enyway
The first Robin Hobb Trilogy, The Farseer Trilogy, took place in the Six Duchies. It is the tale of FitzChivalry Farseer. The discovery that this bastard son exists is enough to topple Prince Chivalry's ambition for the throne. He abdicates, ceding the title of heir to the throne to his younger brother Verity and abandoning the child to the care of the stable master Burrich. The youngest prince, Regal, has ambitions of his own, and wishes to do away with the bastard. But old King Shrewd sees the value of taking the lad and training him as an assassin. For a bastard can be sent into dangers where a trueborn son could not be risked, and may be given tasks that would soil an heir's hands.
The Liveship Trader's Trilogy takes place in Jamaillia, Bingtown and the Pirate Isles, on the coast far to the south of the Six Duchies. The war in the north has interrupted the trade that is the lifeblood of Bingtown, and the Liveship Traders have fallen on hard times despite their magic sentient ships. At one time, possession of a Liveship, constructed of magical wizard wood, guaranteed a Trader's family prosperity. Only a Liveship can brave the dangers of the Rain Wild River and trade with the legendary Rain Wild Traders and their mysterious magical goods, plundered from the enigmatic Elderling ruins. Althea Vestrit expects her families to adhere to tradition, and pass the family Liveship on to her when it quickens at the death of her father. Instead, the Vivacia goes to her sister Keffria and her scheming Chalcedean husband Kyle. The proud Liveship becomes a transport vessel for the despised but highly profitable slave trade.

Personally I like Pendragon, I also like the Bartimaeus Trilogy, even if the ending left me in shock.
Well, perhaps I've just never read any good shoujo manga, because when I think of shoujo, I think of girls who always whine about their boyfriends and whether they should sleep with them or not. But I'm drawing this from an issue of Shoujo Beat, and maybe that isn't the best source to draw judgement from.
P.S. Sorry, but I have to go now. I'm not sure what time it is where you live, but for me it's four in the morning and I haven't went to sleep yet. Guilty grin
