alright looking for a shounen with a strong main character......i dont mean like, physically strong but mentally, personality wise......also, i don't want him to be a loser or nothing like that, ya know?
or it could be a seinen too i guess, as long as it's not dark, and heavy on the drama or angst....basically it has to have some comic relief if not a comedy
and as far as genre goes, it doesn't really matter as long as it's not one of the following:
YAOI, SHOUNEN-AI, GENDER BENDER HENTAI
also checking my reading or unfinished list first would be appreciated
thanx in advance.....
EDIT.....................or a manga about delinquents, i could go for one of those

Since you're familiar with the feel/contents of mangas such as Claymore, Gantz, and the likes. The recommendation would definitely be Shin Angyo Onshi - its on your wish list. It provides a little bit of everything enough to satisfy as you continue to read.
It should fall into your expectations/categories.

yeah, i thought there were mostly wimps too....
but anyways, i saw the anime of death note and chrono crusade......
i no death note's manga's pretty much like the anime.....but i dont about chrono crusades, if so then no thanx, because i didn't really like it.....
i'm reading jack frost, and i dropped demon king....

nah, i'm confused..... when was GTO ever mentioned?, what are you talkin about

These all are what you want, I do believe.
Ares
Bio-Meat: Nectar (Although he is a little bit wimpy in the first couple chapters.)
Historie (Seinen though.)
Detective Conan
Vinland Saga (Again, Seinen)
Bloody Monday
Zero
Psyren
Fire Candy (Seinen)
Hikaru No Go (Best non-action board-playing game manga I've ever read. I'm serious. At least give it a try.)
Togari
Thats off the top of my head.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

Its is a seinen so yeh, a little bit dark and heavy....but no more than gantz and the sort. However once you read it and give it a chance, it will have its moments.

ohhhh... i never read it, i just put it on there cuzz i watched the anime, and it said the anime covered like the first 15volumes or something.....so i wouldn't wanna read something when i already saw it, ya know?

ares, seems to work....i'll give it a shot
bio-meat nectar says it's a horror, so if it's a horror that means it's dark or real dramatic, and thats not what i'm looking for right now
Vinland sagas on my reading list
bloody monday seems to work i can give that shot
zero's on my reading list
psyren i dropped
Fire candy....i remember this one, i was gonna add it to my wish list, but it's say it's "complete but unfinished" so i assumed it would be a waste of time reading it
and detective conan....i dropped the anime, got to repetitive for me

i dont have any problem with it being like that, it's just not what i'm looking for right now....i'm taking a break from reading Shamo because it was so dark and dramatic, and shit that i needed something light to brighten things up before i go back and finish it.....thats why i asked for a light shounen or seinen.....but yeah, i'll be reading shin angyo onshi when i finish shamo.......also i got a question, i saw an anime movie with the same name, does it have anything to do with the manga?

the story is 25 volumes, the anime covered(loosely) first 13 volumes and butchered the storyline. i saw the anime before reading it btw. manga's a masterpiece.
