Ok, so I tend to look at the most popular manga when deciding what next to read I thought I would check to see if these actually are people's favourites or some of them (e.g Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Inuyasha) are just so long that they get higher ratings than they deserve. Let me know what you think of each. I got the list from the top 20 at onemanga.com and the top 11 at mangafox.com. The rating number is listed with mangafox ratings (if there is one) being in brackets.

For those interested my personal favourite is Death Note though none of my other favourites aren't even listed.

I wouldn't count on onemanga.com's list being that accurate, since you can't read stuff that's been licensed by TokyoPop, who appears to have cracked down on other sites that have hosted their titles.

From the list, I voted One Piece, but since I didn't notice the "Other" option, it would really have to be a coin toss between GTO and 20th Century Boys.

I pick Air Gear, well i just really like the detail of the art mostly.

I think the list on this site would be quite representative of people's opinions. I just wanted to know how representative other lists were and since I read most my manga at onemanga or mangafox before deciding whether to buy it or not I used their favourites lists.

I'll check out everyone's favourites though, I read manga way too much and much as I love re-reading my favourites I always love a new story.

Those are my top three. I don't usually tend to agree with whats popular, I really don't like Naruto or Deathnote.

I voted for Death Note...but now I'm kinda regretting it D:

I never choose what to read next by looking at "what's popular". Your list is terrible, there's not one manga I enjoy on that list. I'm sure there's bound to be more like me, so your poll results will never truly represent this site's general taste.

The list is just a combination of the most read manga at onemanga.com and mangafox.com. I've not even read half of them myself, I was just curious if they really were people's favourites or not, the 'oither' option is for those who don't like any on the list.

Death Note is actually one of my favourite mangas but Ayashi no Ceres, Angel Sanctuary, E's, Akuma no Ororon are way up there as well and they're hardly popular so I was just curious how many other people had a similar 'unpopular' top 5 list like me.
