hehe... I'm seem to be asking for a lot of suggestions lately, but anyway...

I'm looking for stories where the main character has a scary, dark or depressing personality. Just to give a few examples:

Sunako of perfect girl evolution- a scary girl thats into skeletons, horror movies and the like.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei- about a suicidal teacher with a dark personality who overreacts to everything. His weird, unbalanced students would also qualify as well.

something along the lines of these two in terms of comedy would be great, but I really don't mind whatever genre it is really. I also don't mind if it's a manga where the character is only a side one so long as they do have a decent presence.

DOGS - Something screwed up w/ all the characters, also read the continuation.

Deadman Wonderland - The series is built on mistrust and needless to say this negative thinking rubs off on the main character.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge bunch of guys participate in a bet to turn a scary, dark, freaky girl (reminds me of the girl from the ring) into a pretty and sweet young lady.

Cat Street Main character isn't exactly of the cheery type. She's distrustful of people, low on self confidence, and depressed.

Mana seconded. Main character is really intimidating XD

Akuma to Love Song Main character wants to be nice and sweet, but she comes off as the devil's reincarnate. Not on target, but she still freaks people out.

Belamonde le visiteur :Main character is a torturer in a dungeon. Kind of lacking in the sympathy dept. Good if you don't mind shonen.

Dogs seconded. Try the sequel ( dogs bullets & carnage ) if you liked it ^^ (my favvie manga ^^)

BTW: wish they would scanlate this series faster, it has been ages since I've seen a release.

Uhhhhh.......... A lot of those don't sound like comedies. Of that I know, Anne Freaks, Claymore, MPD Psycho, Homonculus, and Berserk aren't really comedies...
