I think its perfectly ok and natrual for guys to like shojo, i like shojo alot but i cant stand a cliche mangas at all. I would probably read shojos mixed with other genres lik ecchi, martial arts, gender bender ... etc

This is like saying 'How many girls read shounen'. I read shounen and like shounen better than shoujo. So if you guys like shoujo, I'm one girl who won't tease.

I didn't read shoujo when I was a kid.But since high school, I start enjoying rom-com and light drama very much (all manga, movie, novel...), I guess there are not many good rom-com, drama shounen as they are in shoujo and josei, so I start reading them. However, if it comes to action, fantasy, sci-fi, I still prefer shounen/seinen

I don't really care if it is tagged shoujo, if it looks interesting I read it. And some of the manga I read happen to be shoujo, like Aishiteruze Baby, Zettai Heiwa or Grimms Manga (these are actually one of my favourites, since I've always liked Grimm's fairytales).

I actually read Shoujo as much as I read Shonen but I don't read any Josei or whatever it is but Seinen is my favorite honestly.
As long as it's good I'll read it.

Guys who read shoujo are pretty cool. Nothing wrong with that, just trying to reach their inner girl. Haha maybey... I think it cool but wrong at the same time. See it like guys who read shoujo you feel like they understand you better but at the same time, you wonder are they gay or not.

I don't read shoujo as much as shounen and seinen, but I do read shoujo.

Long time no see, eh?
I was sure I posted in this thread, maybe it was another one. Since I'm posting here the answer should be pretty obvious, I'm not sure about the ratio but there is a decent ammount of shoujo in my lists. When I don't have anything to read I check for some shoujo too

Well, I am a guy and I can't stand shoujo. When I am looking for manga to read as soon as I see shoujo in the description I close the page and look somewhere else.
Don't get me wrong, as far as romances go, I believe shoujo genre is way more realistic and tolerable than say a harem genre. However for me, I just simply can''t stand reading a manga from a girl's perspective.
I like to identify myself with the main hero, but since I am a guy, I find it hard to identify myself with a girl, especially in the romance manga; because our needs, values and perspectives are fundamentally different. Most of the time I feel quite different about stuff in shoujo manga from how the author tries to portray it.
I like to see romance develop from the guy's perspective. The problem though, there there is almost no realistic romance development from the guys perspective in manga medium.
Which is why I tend to read books more for the kind of romance I like.

The only shoujo manga that i ever completed was Kodomo no Omocha and I loved it. other shoujo manga I'm reading are, Half prince, Watashi ni xx Shinasai!, Ouran Koukou Host Club and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! Other then that I don't like the art or the story all that much.

I read some(like Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Fruits Basket) when I was small, only because manga in my region at that time was pretty rare.
