Older Men/Manly Protagonists

After more than 15 years, I've finally outgrown the 'shoujo' category.
I've been dabbling in shounen and seinen titles for the past few weeks and have realized I quite enjoy older and/or realistic male characters. My only other request is that it be a romance story.
Thank you so much! I highly appreciate your suggestions!

Can't think of specific titles RN but I've seen this thread about romance with muscular guys that had some suggestions: [url=https://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=39502]

Oh actually there's also Ristorante Paradiso, now that I think of it. I have yet to read it but it should be het romance and there are definitely both older and non stereotypical guys

Not sure how you feel about yaoi, but here are my favs with mature men. (not necessarily "manly" but more of a "financially-stable working men" type mature)
Himegoto Asobi
Hana wa Saku ka
Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu
Drop by my fanfiction page! 😀 One Piece, Hetalia, Bleach, Harry Potter and more!

Thank you!! I just finished Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet and it was amazing! I loved the character development and realistic interactions between each couple. Also, it just kept going and going! Normally, once the main couple is solidified, the manga comes to an end... but in this case, we got more than enough closure! 10/10! Thank you for recommending. I'm working on the others on the list! 😛

Although the protagonist isn't older, I would consider maybe Raise wa Tanin ga Ii since its got romance but its definitely not shojo or anything, the protagonist is manly too. Personally I really like it ww
ive got a disease called having a big brain and excellent taste.
I rarely update my lists by this point.

Just read Aikagi-kun to Shiawase Gohan and it was great! Adding it here for anyone else also interested in "Manly Protagonists"
