If you've not read Hayate the Combat Butler, you should. The series begins with a misunderstanding, and things continue like that the whole manga.

This signature was recovered from Hades to serve in my rotting armies.

Second Hayate for sure.

ToraDora has a few. Honestly, almost any shounen romantic comedy is going to be filled with them, School Rumble and Hayate are just a little more over-the-top.

What I want most is a face-splitting 😀 , rib-cracking 😲 , rolling-on-the-floor 🤣 , pants-pissing 😛 laugh fest 🤢 .

If what you're looking for is to laugh loudly you should read GTO. It's the funniest manga for me, I don't think I'll ever read something so hilarious again.
As I already said for the misunderstanding part both Mx0 and Full Metal Panic are good, the second one is also pretty action-ish, so remember that. Anyway FMP as some of the better joke I've ever read.
The already mentioned Hayate is good, but many jokes are reference from other manga/anime, so maybe it's difficult to understanding all the references if you're not familiar with many manga/anime.
Another manga that made me laugh is NHK, maybe you can also try that.
And lastly if you don't mind some very ecchi contents you can also read Oretama.

There are ton of funny manga tough, what I mentioned here is just the tip of iceberg.

I already finished reading: GTO and Mx0 (am still angry over sudden end of Mx0)
and the anime of: GTO; Full Metal Panic; Hayate the Combat Butler; Midori no Hibi and Love Hina.

I havent finished NHK yet and I'm waiting for new chapters for ToraDora and Oretama. And I sorta dropped Angel Densetsu, didn't like the artwork much.

So the only thing I didn't know about was Ai Kora, thnks.

i think pretty face is a good choice really funny and even if it's not really based on misunderstanding it's quite near.

Full metal panic is good too and i personaly loved oretama so i'm counselling these too

You basically read all the most famous ones.

So I can suggest something in the less famous category, but keep in mind that even if something is nice they are not all at the same level of the already mentioned ones.
