Hey everyone!

I own a DS and i have been looking for any anime based ds or snes games that i can play. I unfortunately can't read Japanese so it makes importing any games difficult. If there are any that you can think of that are either in english or doesn't need a comprehensive knowledge of the Japanese language to enjoy (i.e. Tennis no Ojou-sama: Crystal Drive) then PLEASE any suggestions will do.

(thanks to all who post!!) smile wink grin

Bleach: The Blade of Fate
Think MvC2-style combat/combo system with Bleach characters. It's probably the best handheld fighter I will ever play and I was playing the JPN release with a FAQ printed out. The problem is the 2nd game is coming out sooner or later so only get this on the cheap.

now i know those aren`t based on anime but i`ve got
to say it anyway... if you gonna play snes games(better late than never)
you could check those out(especially if you are an rpg fan)
Final fantasy 4-6
Chrono trigger
Tales of phantasia (although the psx version looks much better i like the old one best)
teranigma (the best action rpg game ever if you ask me...)
Bahamut lagoon (one of the best tactics ever)
Breath of fire 1-2
7th saga 1-2
Star ocean
Rudra no hihou(aka. treasure of the rudras)
Dragon quest 3-6
Dual orb 2

That`s some of my favourite rpg`s for the snes,
Hope thats helpful for you biggrin

you have stellar taste (tho i liked the snes tales better, the fantranslation was way funnier, arches dream on the boat)

also any of the castevania's for ds now, the art is pretty clearly anime based, and they're challenging

All of them have been translated in english (some by fans), although some translations
like that of "rudra no hihou" could be hard to find...

How about the Phoenix Wright series and Trauma Center? They're all anime-styled and fantastic games IMO.

Full Metal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy is on the DS (Get the joke here? Dual Sympathy? biggrin).

I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the PS2 games, though.

I cannot read Japanese but Jump Superstars(the first one) was easy enough to play without that ability and there are a ton of faqs for it some with screen shots of the menus.
