I can't believe nobody has an answer like mine,
"People's opinion mattered little for me. As long as I comfortable inside what I'm wearing, I'm doing fine. However, that's not implying that I suck for anime weardrobe. In the contrary, I prefer not to wear those kind of outfit. Not out of like. Not out of dislike. I'm pretty neutral about it. 'no way' option hence became too much."

I definitely wouldn't. I have this passionate hate for manga/anima merchandise. I can't explain very well why or think of a good justification for it, but I just do! There's something about it that is just so unbearably lame to me. I even dislike seeing other people wearing this kind of merchandise, so I can't even imagine wearing that stuff myself.

Same. I used to have a few anime t-shirts but I've either outgrown them, they've shrunk, they've ripped or they're so faded away that I get more "that guy is poor" looks than "that guy is a cartoon freak" looks. (I loved my .hack t-shirt )

Only if the item would aesthetically appeal to me if I weren't a fan of it. To be honest, a lot of anime/manga merchandise simply isn't fashionable. Furthermore, in general, I don't wear clothes with logos/brands on them, which a lot of anime/manga merchandise do. I would make the exception if the logo was nondescript or presented in a particularly artful/typographic manner. As it is, I own way too many tshirts
Something I would wear would be this very cute Vampire Knight bracelet. Very subtle. A great accessory on its own. I think the only reason why I don't have it already was because it was rather expensive.

I feel the same. I've had a couple of such things over the years.

I don't really see why them wearing those clothes or use those words would be sad. They like it and it's not harming anyone. Who cares

I'd surprise you then. I remember pointing out an anime from some dude's shirt. I don't think the dude himself knew what it was, though. Wasn't interested in talking anime I suppose

That totally depends, i would use a "Monster" shirt (or whatever) but never a moe shirt.
If it doesn't look odd i don't see what's the problem, i hate when things don't go together tough (i can't go outside if my boxers don't match my socks, no one is going to notice, but i like it that way)

In the past I would have said no but now I no longer care. I dont go out of my way to find them but if I found one I liked and bought it of course I'm going to wear it. I've seen people wearing worse in public. A cartoon on a shirt or keychain isnt a big deal.

i dont own any...but the only type of anime/manga merchandise i would buy is earrings
i like my clothes plain...no images or text
i dont like carrying purses around and most anime-related necklaces and bracelets ive seen before looked tacky
earrings are usually not blatant when it comes to anime/manga references thats why its probably the only type of anime merchandise i would buy

Big, fat, flashy anime-print shirts are pretty gay. Coincidentally, ANY big, fat, flasy printed shirt is pretty gay.
If I'm gonna wear anything, anime related or not, I'd rather it not be so big, fat, and flashy. Also, I prefer "in-universe" clothing IE something practical that a character wore. Something like this shirt, which is awesome.
I have the Junpei Iori baseball hat that came with my pre-order of P3P, and I rock it harder than Junpei ever did. Unfortunately, people think it's a Led Zepplin hat, but since I like Led Zepplin, it's cool.
I have both a male and female Yasogami High School uniform that me and a friend wore on Halloween, and good times were had by all.
I once went on a quest to find a Captain Matthews baseball hat. Sadly, it doesn't exist.

I always go HAM at Anime North and Pacific Mall when buying anime merchandise. I have so much and I wear it with pride. T-Shirts or chains and rings. Rock the Fairy Tail chain, akatsuki ring, and an anime t all day
