I'm looking for manga with a plot hook that is unusual. It could be a situation the maincharacter is put in, or it could be a trait of the main character. Whatever the case may be the story must not be episodical.

I remember reading this one manga about a boy who washes up on an island whos population is only composed of women. I thought "wow awesome premise!" and started reading it, only to find out there was no plot. It was just a bunch of episode like adventures that were only a couple chapters each. Very dissapointing.

Anyway a couple of examples of what kind of quirky plot hooks I'm looking for.

I understand these examples are mostly shoujo or romances, but the story doesn't have to be either, those are only a couple of examples I could come up with off of the top of my head.

but in each of these mangas each main character has to cope with unsual circumstances. From having to live somewhere new (good morning call/aiko desho/The Way This Boy Lives) to having an unusual personality (kimi ni todoke/koibana! koiseyo hanabi)

Bitter Virgin Plot: The guy knows the girls deepest, sadest secret and is now completly obsessed with her. But is unable to hook up do too threats from another girl.

Double Arts <-If boy lets go of girl's hand she dies. Unfortunatly it got cancelled so there's only 20 or so chapters, but it's still very good.
7 Seeds maybe? (put summary in spoiler tags but you learn it all within 10 chapters)
