I would recommend Ai Kora, especially since it tends to stay away from just about all of the annoying clichés of the genre. Plus its damn funny.

It really depends on what you are looking for. I cannot stress this enough.

There are two directions that a harem will usually take: slapstick comedy and deep, angsty drama.

Most harem stories feature heavy slapstick. Love Hina, Ai Kora, and Girls Saurus are obvious examples.

The second type is a bit more rare. The Type Moon products (Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night) are more heavy in the drama aspect, but you can only truly feel it if you buy the videogames (both those series ORIGINATED as games, NOT anime/manga, and invariably the anime and manga adaptations end up leaving things out that have a huge impact on just how deep the story goes). School Days is also very dramatic. It too is based on a videogame. The videogame has I think 20 endings, 6 of them are very, very grotesque.

To be honest, I cannot think of any very heavily dramatic original mangas off the top of my head.

So the question is, are you looking more for comedy in your harem or for drama?
