hey, that is a pretty original nickname, well explained and does have a meaning. In my case i just use a short form of my japanese (unofficial) name (full=Tsutomu), too lazy to think and make a worthy nickname

Well... I came up with my username when I were about 12 years old. At that time, I read the manga Dragonball a whole lot, and my favourite character were Android 17. In Sweden (my homeland) his name is Cyborg 17, shortened to C17. Soooo... I simply added a digit, and I had a username I could easily remember. Then I simply got used to it and... I still use it...

I needed a screen name for AIM and at that point in my life I was pretty boring and wasn't sure of the parameters of screen names. Since then I've used this user name on everything and anything and really want to change it because I've hated it since day one. I still register on new sites as rabookal.

years ago i was a real fan of the megaman games, where there is an character named bass, i wanted to enter a forum of the series and needed a nick, put dark in front and next thing i know i got used to it and use it everywhere nowadays.... my friend only bother because i didn't put the initials in upper case, forgot at the the time and after that i got used and never bothered to fix it

Mine was just something that came to my head outta nowhere. I use it for everything now.
