Some good manga that are good and not typical?
I am into romance so I would prefer if it has that but I want something new. It could be refreshing too.
I am not into Yoai or Yuri. I would prefer also a happy or at least a bittersweet ending. I also don't mind smut or mature tag.
thanks in advance

Ima Ichiko's Otona no Mondai is not typical for BL. The protag is not part of the BL plot, rather his father is. Instead, the manga explores family dynamic .

For non-typical i liked Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun a lot, def one of my favorites! and Pochamani, which is a cute one though
Are you ok with shounen manga too?
If so, i recommend Molester Man or Welcome to the NHK (another favorite). The genre is romance, don't worry.
Sorry i can't link them to you! i'm new here and just starting to write forum posts, if you could tell me how i'd be glad.

Yes I love Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun very much. Haru is one of my favorite manga/anime characters. I am planning to watch Welcome to the NHK the anime. Which is better?

Not typical romance, here we go:
Beauty Pop - hairdressing, aloof girl MC, she's great!
Dengeki Daisy - cool plot
Iris Zero - cool setting
Akagami no Shirayukihime - court romance done differently
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii - fantasy; younger male, older female, BUT it's great (normally I don't like this configuration)
Colette wa Shinu Koto ni Shita - the relationship between a doctor and a god of underworld; immensly sweet
Akatsuki no Yona - epic quest + romance
Sousei no Onmyouji - action; main couple is destined to get married and give birth to a child that will save the world; they don't like each other at the beginning
Orange - she's trying to save his life cause of a letter she gets form her "future self" (time-travel, but not exactly)
Warau Kanoko-sama and its sequel Koi dano Ai dano - MC's personality and way of life is so unique
Hirunaka no Ryuusei - doesn't seem that different from your typical high-school stories, but ending changes everything
Kingyosou - the guy is deaf
Double Arts - action, sadly axed, but cool series; main pair must hold hands all the time
Chihayafuru - I mean they play karuta 🙂 lots of angst
Takane to Hana - one hell of a mismatched pair, great comedy
Kobato. - it's CLAMP, it's crazy (more or less anything by CLAMP will do)
Dear - interesting world/setting
Watashi ga Motete Dousunda - awesome comedy, best boi is an actual angel (I mean figuratively, but still 😉 )

Oretama
Sundome
Koharu no Hibi
Abnormal-kei Joshi
Mousugu Shinu Hito (HARUSE Hiroki)(questionable quality)
Henkoi!
Onii-chan Control
Kanojo wa Sore o Gaman Dekinai (IWASHITA Shigeyuki)
Kono S o, Mi yo! - Cupid no Itazura
Be warned, i took "not typical" to mean weird(in some cases, batshit insane).
They're all good tho

Any list that has Sudome in it probably contains a lot of other good stuff too!

Oh i really liked both! I started with the anime and then continued with the manga, it's a really nice read, and a very good watch, but for the anime, the animation it's a bit stiff and looks cheap.
nevertheless i can recommend both
