I did life sciences! Molecular, Cellular and Developmental biology and I finished off with Ecological and Evolutionary biology. Never did much in the ecological area though - mainly concentrated on evolutionary developmental bio and bio-engineering my last few semesters. And now I'm a stay at home Mommy with another on the way. O_o but ^_^

Well, that makes you very qualified to study, raise and possibley mutate your children. smile

Really seems to be a broad intrest range here.

I am wrapping up my Diploma ( more or less a masters degree ) of Meteorology next Year. After that i might do a Ph. D.

What to study?!
That's the question which is bothering me momentarily the most. I'm going to graduate next summer. So I have to find an answer soon.
But the problem is that I'm interested in many subjects. I'd like to become a teacher for maths and latin or physician (for anaesthesia or gynaecology). Japanese is also very interesting.

You see that I still have to think it over.

I really want to study medical sciences*, but there's some doubt whether I'd be accepted (I have too much time in my hands) because of my geography mark.

*I want to be a neurologist or a psychologist. biggrin

I'm IT univercity student, but here in Germany there are too much electronic field involved, I don't really like it, I want to study only programming, high level one (graphic, online database), not low level like assembler or C for real time programming.

It seriously took me forever to decide what I wanted to do. And it's not because I didn't know what I wanted to do.. it's because there were just so many things I wanted to do. And I would have loved and been happy doing any of 'em. I ended the tug of war with darts. laugh And I figure.. if I change my mind, I change my mind. You're never too old to start over in my opinion.

Currently though, I'm a double major - Medicine and biology.

Lucky. My problem is the exact opposite, I get bored of everything extremely fast. Damn I want to go into the gaming industry >< That's the only thing that held my interest for so long.

You definitely should then.. there's no point in doing something all your life if you're not going to enjoy it. And if people are against that choice, well, there's some things you just have to do for yourself and say 'Screw you' to everyone else (I tell people screw you a lot laugh ).

Can you do that at the same time? Or did you take the MCAT first?

T_T I'm scared of taking that!

I have a problem telling people I respect, like my parents and close friends, to f**k off. That was a big problem for me growing up. I did everything people asked of me even when I couldn't afford to. But yesterday I told my mom to STFU. o.O I have no idea where that came from. She slapped me >< Thats why I usually just ignore people and don't tell them anything. Can't believe I f**ked up like that. no

Political science(need atleast a masters degree) with a minors in American history, European history, Japanese history, Japanese Lang.

And another major in Counter Terrorism covering basic administrative uses, advisement and combat tactics.

Wish I could have started this in high school I could have gotten 50%-75% of this stuff learned already and have most of my degrees done.

study japanese and not engineering

Why not do both or minor in Japanese and come back to it later or something?

Wow that's uh... A lot of majors? I'm doing a double major in Physics & Astro, with a minor in Philosophy and that's already taking up all my time. Double major with four minors sounds very overwhelming...
