Jethro. Usually Jeff or Jeffy. Most people say Jefro for some reason they can't pronounce.

I just thought of the Beverly Hill Billies.

HI! My name's Rebecca! (I say this all the time IRL, it's wicked annoying)

I really have no stories associated with it though, well, I guess some people call me Vanessa, which is a little strange.

Zak. I didn't misspell my own name. That's actually the way it's spelled.

Sadie. I was named for my grandma that's why the name is so outdated. I kinda like it because it's unique and I don't have to worry about somebody else having my name.

Pieter-Jan

It's a Dutch name. I can remember that the name 'Pieter' means being thrustworthy & 'solid' as a rock. 'Jan' would euhhm.... I forgot but it should be something good as well biggrin Well my parents obviously didn't choose the name because of the anthroponymy, they just liked it I think. Apparently it was either this or "Gert-Jan" biggrin

Btw: don't try pronouncing it in English - it makes the "r-J" part sound really gay.
Just say P-Jay then cool

My name is Lena (the "L" is pronounced like in the word "like" a softer way~.~). (full name is actually Elena but I hate it...)
Now that I live in Israel people find it hard to pronounce my name, which drives me crazy...

Is this thread really necessary?
I wouldn't be surprised if I came across a thread asking for your living address.

It's not like we're asking for your Social Security #, birthdate, and credit card numbers. Yet...

Thought there is a where do you live thread.
