Most Depressing Manga

I guess all that gender bender manga when a boy turns into a girl, and then s/he can´t return to normal, is very depressing (except K!, because the boy was a complete gay).
Still here...

Am I the only one who was crushed by Gunslinger Girl?
Aww, Gunslinger Girl is so sad! 😢
The most depressing manga I've ever read is Life ~ seriously, how can one girl be so unlucky? Bullying, self-harm, frenemies, sexual abuse... just everyday occurences in shojo manga. 😲 😔

7 seeds..it's so sad waking up the next day, knowing that humanity is already wiped out.
Doll: IC in a doll ;______________;
Hotel..is an epic manwha. Listening to Louis Armstrong's song while reading the manwha makes me sad.
and I second Present, Boichi has created two one-shot masterpieces

I vote Violinist of Hameln, Vampire Juuji Kai, and maybe Pita-Ten and/or Yume de Aetara.
I dont think Yume de Aetara would count cause its just slightly sad that the two main characters cant get married

Ai ren
it's funny people mention death note and one person mentioned ichigo 100%(which was great). Neither of those was sad.
AI ren on the other hand, tries its best to be optimistic while going steadily towards death. No matter what, dying sucks. Growing old has plenty of suck that comes with it. Living sucks less but still.
So ai ren is about a guy dying, but it could just as well be about a guy aging and dying naturally. Both of which are pretty sad. The manga itself isn't all that sad throughout. It's the final couple, where the two main characters die(in the space of like 3 chapters) that does it.
especially the guy's. He was already dying but a war that he had nothing to do with ends up killing him while his disease ends up crippling him badly. And throughout his final moments he's dealing with it too well, and even consoles some guy that he ends up trapped with. Nearly made me cry and rather sad.

I just read this part in MW where some very small children decide to kill themselves, because their father and mother are planning on doing so. I was like, O_O! and then they say something about how they hope they will turn into angels or something...
I mean, omg, that's really, really depressing.
But that manga is just full of it o_o;
