I've been reading House of Sun (Taiyou no Ie) and I love it. It's sad but heartwarming, and cute but not generic. Have any of you read something that gives off a similar vibe? If so, care to share?

I, too would like to find another manga like "Taiyou no Ie", but sadly there is few that measure up to it...
However, you may find some similarities with the following;

~Yume Miru Taiyou. (Living-in situation)

~Sugar Family. (Unofficial Step-brother/sister situation)

do you mean Taiyou no Ie? Better you use the most common name, makes it easier to get what you are talking about or [ link ] directly to the manga you are referring to.
