Im the same as you. If the manga is like tooo goood [like Viewfinder] then i definitely will read it even if it's ongoing..
and then everything else has to be completed. it hurts when i have to wait for a chapter, after being left with a cliffhanger=D laugh

I agree that completed is ideal but I don't look for completed manga. The wait is slow and it really breaks momentum. I just finished chocotto sister, which really affected me... a year ago. Due to the long pause, there wasn't really a catharsis moment. At least the anime had it though I'm extremely glad the series was completed.

But like I said, I deal with manga as I come across it. Though I'm overwhelmed and back log a lot.

The wait might suck but it only sucks because I found something good in the first place.

Doesn't really matter to me, as long as they are released on regular schedule I'm happy (or at least published within a decent amount of time)

Completed, definitely. I can't resist, though, if an ongoing looks good. -_-;

I prefer on-going for the same reasons I dislike one-shots, I hate things to end! I don't like getting attached to characters and then feeling depressed when the story ends. I do read long completed series, because at least they go for awhile. I also like the excitement when a new chapter is released. I know it's slow but it dosn't bother me too much, mostly because I tend to get sucked in and I don't have enough time to read a complete manga.

I like reading completed mangas more, just because I wouldn't have to wait for new releases..
I do read mangas that are ongoing though.. mainly because the new chapters are released quickly and I like the feeling of assurance that there is a group out there scanlating the manga. xD

It really depends on how much I like the manga. There's some that I prefer completed before reading the whole thing, because the long wait for the next chapters sometimes kills the suspense or the interest and leaves me hanging. And there are ongoing series that I watch out for whenever new chapter/s are released, especially when I'm so hooked on it, I'll want to know what happens next already. So for me it's really a tie.

recently I prefer my manga completed, cause I already have lots of ongoings to read and sometimes can't keep up with releases cause of IRL stuff, but I think I'll end up reading few ongoings from my wish list...

I definitely prefer completed mangas, I usually try to wait until a manga is finshed or almost finished to read it. Its just so frustrating sometimes, waiting and sometimes I forget what happened in the last chapter.
