Nah, not really. I mean, I've gone days/weeks without reading manga just because I was busy with other things or didn't feel like reading manga or was focused on watching dorama, but I've never purposely *tried* to go without manga.

Same here.

Yes, other things take precedence. I have had a lot going on so I haven't been able to read anything for the past few weeks.

Same for me: if i have something i must work/study hard on, i dont feel like reading/taking time to read manga. When im free/bored, i happily get my preferite series and read them with delight. :3

I agree. Manga is more like a passing enjoyment for me. Study, and especially work, are much more important to me. If I'm at home during holidays and I'm off from work, I'll read manga. Though I am prone to reading manga during the study week before exams when I feel like going on a procrastination binge - especially if I hate the subject I'm studying laugh

Yup. Went cold turkey for about a month alone in a relative's house with no printed manga, internet connection or alcohol. Tried to fill time with drawing, TV and video games but something happened to me after a couple of days by myself. It's amazing how quickly you lose the desire to shower and wear clothes in such situations.

A couple of weeks ago my laptop broke and the library computers get logged so I can't read manga on them. It was the hardest week of my life, lol.

Seriously though I do sometimes go a while without reading any because I'm busy but I spend far too much time reading, it's the only way I relax. I divide my time between manga and western novels though so with work I don't read as much manga as I'd like. My wish list is a mile long.

Yeah, but it wasn't by choice because my laptop needed to be repaired. So it was at the repair shop for a couple of weeks.

Yes, I've gone months without manga because I got bored of it...I think the longest lasted 6 months...

That was back in the days when I was full-on anime oriented.

Now, a few days perhaps. Weeks, months not so much for my insanity might break.

Intentionally? never. Have I ever been too busy with other things and so forgotten about manga temporarily? yes, but never for more than a week.

It's not like that I'm addicted to reading manga but I feel a little uneasy w/out reading it. Thus, I really like the manga drawings and stuffs so I've ended up reading manga along with having my final exams @.@

I can live without manga in my life, although I prefer to have it in my life it as a hobby/stress reliever/relaxer. I have taken many long breaks in my years of reading manga though.

I have gone without manga for six months or so in 2007 (because of exams, internet problems and manga burnout), and currently reading a few pages once in awhile (I'm in a burnout again for about three months... I just don't feel like reading, but I have a feeling I'll get back soon.)
