Just a shame that the best player in the world is out (Messi), so lets hope the second and third best players in the world (Iniesta and Xavi, imho... though Germany's Muller is making a very strong case for himself) start to shine.
I don't think Muller can be up there in the category of the best players in the world.
He's a decent player don't get me wrong, but I think you're giving him too much credit.
Okay, maybe I phrased that a bit wrong.... lets say best players for the past year or two. Muller's basically been brilliant since he started being a regular in Bayern's first team. He's young, uses his head, and doesn't do a hundred useless stepovers every match. I rate club football above international football, btw (it's just of much higher quality)

I like that little dig at a certain player in that paragraph 🤣 (of what I infered from it anyway)
Ahh ok I see what you're saying. I don't really know about these players club performances unless they're in the Premiership, but it's good to hear that he's playing well for his club and internationally. You don't hear that combination often.
Club football is certainly a much higher quality that international for sure.

4-0 hahahaha. Can´t stop laughing lol argentina played like every player was a team on his own XD no interactions in the groupg ROFL this game was the funniest i´ve seen so far can´tbreath
Errr...A funny game? Really?
I wasn't laughing 😐 It was a good game of football. I enjoyed it.
Don't diss the game because you're being biased.
it was funny because we were so good XD maybe i drank to much lol
^ Yeah I think you did 😐
Spain are playing really disappointing football. Haven't created anything.
Paraguay were unlucky there. Had number 7 not gone for the ball it would have been a goal. Maybe that would have made Spain play better. They need to change their tactics. I don't want to see Paraguay in the next round. That's just boring.
Germany v Spain sounds like a much better match to watch.

You are aware that Muller was the top scorer for Bayern this season. And we all know Bayern played in CL finals. And then he scores against England and Argentina. And he's 20. It doesn't get much better then that. =)
Oh, btw...I don't know if anyone knows about the press-conference after the last Germany - Argentina friendly match....when Muller came instead of germany coach. Maradona got up angry and left saying he doesn't wanna do press conference with a ballboy. 🤣

Hahahaha
Maradonna can just suck on it.
Hated how he was so cocky and talking smack. The arrogance is quite something too.
Spain beats Paraguay like I hoped.
1 - 0, but still a nice win!
YEEEEEEEEEEAH~
Bayern were in the Champions League (like you said) so I know he's a decent player indeed =)
He's got while to go before he gets to the greatest players, but being a good goal scorer always helps. I like the fact that he can play well in both club level and internationally though. He's got potential to go far for sure.
The Spain game, what a shambles. Man if they want a chance against Germany they can't play like that. To be fair to Paraguay they played well to mark them and close them down but still.
I dunno what that ref was doing either. If he gave Spain that penalty that Paraguay guy should have been sent off :/ Plus Paraguay should have been able to retake their penalty as there were at least 4 Spanish players in the box before he hit the ball.
Oh well whatever.
As for Maradona, that man always makes me laugh 🤣

Still been a reasonably good World Cup, this one (plus, I made a nice sum of $$ from Holland's win yesterday =D ).... and it's been a credible tournament ever since the last knockout stage (basically after the Wanker and Co were knocked out by a clearly superior and more entertaining Spain.... too bad Freenoob still hasn't stopped yapping through his arse, though.)
As far as im concernd portugal played quite well. Spain just about won the game with their off side goal. Like i said spain is not amazing looking at the way they won today, i see germany winning this cup. like i've said before, ball possetion is good but means nothing if you can't finish it off.
On another note i will support teams who i like, so if you think im talking shit then tuff. I see you've got alot of hate for the "wanker" but i would like to hear you say he is not a good player. Come on, say it. I think you just talk shit just as much.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I'm not sure if Spain's struggle was more the product of bad play, or Paraguay playing great defense. I definitely noticed in the first half that Spain wasn't as pinpoint with their passes at first, but they got better as the half progressed. On the other hand, Paraguay's defense was stifling. Portugal's defense, who had only allowed 1 goal in the previous 12 international matches, did not hold a candle to Paraguay's defense. That was a surprise, probably because the thing that popped out the most in their match against Japan was them being shutout. Their offense played much better in this match.
The second half, Spain started playing better. They were still trading opportunities with Paraguay, though. What's up with penalty kicks in this World Cup? It's screwing with the statistics. Anyway, eventually Spain strung together a few good passes and scored a goal. That's what they do best.
Despite what people think, I do think Spain and Germany will be a good match. Germany has been very impressive, as they always are. However, Spain has not been overly impressive, but has played very good football all tournament. Germany should be considered the favorites, but I chose Spain to win it all, so I think Spain will be able to beat a great German team.

I thought Maradona said that his team is only #14(defensive player) dude and the others...and also aguero doesnt really start, its tevez and higuian wit messi playin behind them.
i also root for brazil, jus ordered my Kaka jesery today, had to settle wit the blue road one tho but i dont care, blue is my fav color and its Kaka, my fav player.
Well maybe something like that, but the point is Argentina is all about individual, not team. And it has been proven by the Germans. Like Lahm said, "A better team beats better players".

Been a good WC so far except for what Suarez did left a bad taste in my mouth. That was cheating and Ghana should have gone through. I feel sorry for them.

i couldn't agree with you more. if Uruguay played extremely well then i wouldn't have cared but the fact that Ghana wast the better side and the way Uruguay won really makes it a bitter pill to swallow. that was Ghana's second time at the world cu[p and how many times has Uruguay been the? an experienced team winning like that is really depressing.

It's a shame that he done that, but tell me a player that wouldn't have done the exact same thing if they were in Suarez's position. I still can't believe that Gyan missed the penalty.

Uruguay have won it twice before but to go through like this is just shameful. And yes if I were in his position I would have probably done the same in the heat of the moment. Poor Ghana it was their chance to shine(could have been the first ever African team to reach the semis)
