Indifferent.
At times it was annoying
when people took it too seriously
or when the classes happened to be
very late and I would've rather gone
home than put ski boots on and
head for the snowy desolation.

?!!!
Skiing for PE? Lucky!~

Not downhill skiing.
I speak of that crap where you just
swear in the woods and push yourself
forward while groping your sweaty balls
and push the wolf away and tell it you
are not dead yet.

I like it. I'm good at it. But I don't love it since there are bits and pieces that I don't like. Overall, it's a good class though.

LMFAO AHAHAHAHA
I remember in grade eight they told us we were going on a 'ski' trip.
It was that bullshit you're talking about. SO disappointing. Then after lunch we went snow shoeing, which is like the same thing but way more boring. And then at the END we went tubing for an hour. Like wth?

Oh and a good PE story.
We had a sub in grade 7 and he had a headache so this is how it went down:

Teacher: "We are going to play silent dodgball. Talk and you're out."
Me: "WHAT THE HELL!? THAT'S THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!"
Teacher: "Your out."
Me: "eek"

we had to do what u call "suicide" where u have to run back and forth the gym when the thing beeped.

I HATE it, It's the most pointless and annoying kind of exercise ever!

YES someone agrees with me T^T

o ya.... back in middle school (for like 3 months) we had to train for the terry fox run ( its this guy who ran across canada even though he had a leg amputated b/c he had cancer) i HATED training for this run because our school field was huge AND we had to run around the community center next door so it was pretty bad. I mean i donate money and stuff i just dont see why i have to run. in high school we could walk for the terry fox "run" and it was a day where you pay to skip class.

Bahaha I frequently skipped Terry Fox run day.
The best was in grade nine when I actually walked it.
I was with my friend, her boyfriend, and our teacher was behind us.
Suddenly a car pulled up beside us and my friends boyfriend jumped into the car.
His dad actually came and picked him up.
It was SO funny to watch the teacher running after the car, yelling and shaking his fist. It was awesome.
laugh

I hate PE, especially if we are doing a fitness test and have to run a mile dead It always wears me out.
Yet my Joga elective remains the most tiring class... I can't believe I thought I'd relax there dead

P.S.

Your teacher must be crazy to make you play outside in winter...

when i was little we had the ski-PE thing (i live in Mammoth Lakes (*1)) and i liked it though by the time i was in middle school i had burt out on it because most others were able to do stuff like double black dimand (extra extra hard) and all i could do was the intermediate to hard runs(and even on the hard i had to go slow). and because i skied while it was cool to snowboard so unless you were amazing and could do fancy tricks, you were made fun of cry . Now im a senior in high school and there are only a small group of about ten people how still go up to the moutain for PE and they are all amazing at it.

*1 generally i dont give out were i live though i doubt any of you will stalk me so i think its ok this once

oh and as far as regular pe classes at school, i never liked them because im far from a jock and all they ever did in pe here was football, soccer, or go in the weight room to work out dead

I liked it. lol

I love sports...

But I voted liked instead of loved because there were always a bunch of douchebag boys in every class. Especially hated when we had to play games with them...I wish I had an all-girl class since when we play with the guys, they never let us do anything anyways.

Love it! Or rather used to love it. I was quite good in almost every sport discipline (excluding short distance running) and even took part in some competitions. Basketball, volleyball, football (soccer - I dislike this word) and everything with word "ball" is great fun for me (I have never played american football, baseball and such because there are not so popular in Europe so we don't have them on PE).

Now I prefer to do my homework on PE because it's so boring. We don't have even proper gym.

It depended in what we were doing in class. Some activities (ex: badminton) I loved, while others I hated. But overall, I'd have to say I disliked PE. I was so glad when I finished.

It depends on who's teaching it. One year my PE teacher had us do a WRITTEN TEST on the rules of dodge ball.... IT WAS RIDICULOUS!

I've had a couple good teachers though, and then it was pretty fun.

I hated it. Playing volleyball or kickball a couple times a week isn't making anyone healthier, it's just an opportunity for bullies to torment people.

loved it. Took a racket's course (ping pong to squash to tennis), weight training, and a phys ed course. Stopped taking it when you needed community service hours as part of the curriculum >.<

Loved dodgeball, but we rarely played it. It was all REAL sports, hockey, soccer, or physical training.

The weight training course was 4 days a week in the weight room, 1 day for lessons on human anatomy, good stuff. As for the comment above about playing a few sports a few times, we're talking about once a day for each day of the semester here. It makes a HUGE difference considering most doctors are practically begging people to get at least 30min of moderate exercise a week, let alone roughly one hour every day, five days a week.

Remember, for the people who live sedentary lifestyles, even the most moderate of exercises done for only 30min a week can start showing some significant results. Ya, that's how bad obesity is in the west atm.

Loved PE, I also played tennis so I liked the extra training during school. I took weight lifting twice and felt pretty buff in high school. Now that I'm in college I miss the physical activity.

I loved PE in high school and when I had to take it again in college I especially loved the options. ie yoga, fencing, badmitton, bowling etc. I ended up taking yoga and pilates biggrin
