Mixing of Shoujo/shounen elements

Well I'm looking for some manga/manhwa that has a mix up of shounen and shoujo elements, by that, I mean that the title has the liveliness of shounen and the mushy romance of shoujo. Action is a plus. Yeah, I know my request is kinda wierd but, I'm not really expecting that the manga to have a shoujo/shounen genre per se. For example, The manga can be shoujo but it also has a shounen feel in it vice versa. Hope you guys understand what I meant 😛
And you can check out my list (not 100% updated) for the things I've read.

So a more action-ish shoujo, eh?
Superior comes to mind first...
DN Angel
Violinist of hameln
Zombie loan
Most of them are action-oriented but still retain shoujo themes- Zombie Loan wasn't so great but the anime was waay better 😛
Amatsuki
Blood+
Eureka Seven
Future Diary
Ga-Rei
Immortal Rain
Saver
I think this is what you mean. >_<

I can no longer recommend Inuyasha 1) B/c everyone's heard of it and 2) It's just not that good anymore. I also second Eureka Seven and third Ga-Rei.

^ So true, when I first read it I thought it was shojo, hell even the artwork is similar to shojo manga.
Bitter Virgin gets confused for shojo or josei often. And Tsukihime gets a little fluttery at times.

Your lists aren't public! D:
for your request, here's what comes to mind-
Full Metal Panic!
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
DNAngel
Loveless (it's shounen ai though)
Crimson Hero (kind of. i feel like it's loads more about volleyball than anything else, but there's a little bit of romance in it. so melodramatic at times though. XD)

Amatsuki - doesn't have a lot of romance, but whatever it is, it's definitely a must-read!
Double Arts- kind of, but cant be too sure, it's REALLLY new.
NekoTen- I think this one fits ur description perfectly

I think Kurohime fits into this. However, the real story picks up after volume 2.

I would say Inuyasha... if you can put up with the length. It's listed as a shounen, though.
