Sometimes, a manga is licensed and translated by a company, but the translation is only available in print (nobody has uploaded it). I often see these manga marked as "completely scanlated". Is this designation correct?

Some people upload scans of the English print version, but it is against MU's policy to report these uploads. That's why a series may be listed as completely scanlated but have no releases.

I'm talking about when nobody has uploaded any scans of any version whatsoever.

If you're sure the designation is incorrect, then by all means, change it.

Most of mangaupdates database is defined by its users so it's either the scans are REALLY hard to find or whoever edited it made a mistake.

Mind linking the series in question?

Here's one I've changed twice or thrice: Genkaku Picasso. I didn't want to name a specific series because it could be interpreted as a clever status request.

I don't know why you are commenting on how many times you have changed the status of this series... when you only changed it three times yesterday from yes to no to yes to no...
You don't even know what you are doing on this site, yet you are changing the information regardlessly.

FYI... only one person before you changed the completion status.

I searched a while longer and found that the releases did exist. It was my mistake. Sorry for causing trouble with the status.

I remember changing it at least once before that day. If your logs show differently then that's fine.

You're probably thinking of a different series.
