Yeah, but Japan's technically a Pacific Island still, and the Philippines is part of Asia. The 3rd largest mall is there, and it's called the "Mall of Asia"
I was just trying to prevent a future argument over whether the Filipinos are Asian or not. I know people who're Filipino and would consider himself Asian, and others who would classify themselves as Pacific Islander, so maybe they've split themselves up in this poll :0

Thanks so much for your response!! Well, you probably don't have too many serious crime problems in general then... we have too many violent crimes and such here...
Yes, you have a beautiful country! I don't know why I really want to visit Portugal exactly but maybe I can study abroad there one year...
of course, maybe it would make more sense to visit Spain since I am learning Spanish *lol*
I think what I know about Portugal mostly has to do with football/soccer (other than the maritime history, which is all I really learned about Portugal in school)... the first time I watched the world cup actually was this year (many Americans don't watch it, though it was popular this year), and somehow I got really interested in Spain and Portugal as a result (well, I liked their teams )... So, I love learning about foreign countries in general, and I love history and beautiful places... and I'm also a fan of football (not American football ) now lol ^_^ (not enough girls like it I tell you!) So yeah, I would love to visit Portugal.

Thank you for the compliment. I am proud of my english
Violent crimes do depend on where you go but true enough it's a pretty peaceful country (compared to the USA anyways )
You won't find many female football fans here either but don't let that stop you from visiting
And if you're divided between visiting PT or ES visit both not liek they're far from each other

Yes, going to both Spain and Portugal wouldn’t be too hard would it
Do many people in Portugal speak English as well as you? I suppose it wouldn’t be too hard to communicate then...
Also what food do you suggest… or what food do you not suggest, lol?

Also, this is random, but do you know, that the only two footballers people in the US tend to know are David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo? (I think because they have somewhat of a celebrity image outside of football) So, unfortunately or not, Cristiano is pretty much the face of your country in US popular culture lol (personally I am not a hater or an extreme fan, but I admit Cristiano is quite easy to make fun of lol )

(even though Cristiano Ronaldo is fun to make fun of I admire his dedication to be the best player, I'm not trying to insult him)

I mean make fun of like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icr0dwVmrDA (in case you're wondering, this is from a Catalan Spanish show called Crackovia in which they make fun of Real Madrid and Barcelona (but it's a little biased towards Barcelona))
even for people I like, I like these kind of things that make fun of them
ok I will stop replying to myself now, I hope I'm not annoying you!
