I'm not ashamed to like any artist or song, because frankly I don't care what anyone else thinks of my music tastes.

I'm sort of becoming ashamed of liking Apocalyptica.

This.
I see no reason to be ashamed of anything you like, regardless of its quality..

Owl City......
I don't really like bands that use electronic effects and ones that so many people like, but I'm starting to like them.....:guilty:

Is it bad to say I like S Club 7?
They were in my era. I loved them when they were big in the 90s. They bring back so many memories.
Them and the Spice Girls were definitely my two favourite bands from the 90s.

Does being ashamed include a guilty feeling when listening to the songs too, or just not telling others that you listen to it?
Because I guess I wouldn't go around declaring that I still have a lot of anime OST on my iPod.. but I don't really care when I'm listening to them.
Other than that, I guess listening to Chinese Pop in an all-English/German song culture is unusual, but that's nothing that I'm personally ashamed about. Actually I'm proud of it. Only thing it does is to get the person asking kinda awkward about it. XD

Pussy Cat Dolls - When You Grow Up.
The lyrics are so bad....but so catchy >>"
&
2PM - Again & Again.
^ I don't much like 2PM, but again, the song is so catchy.

Panic! at the disco, They got so bad after their first album but the first one was sosososo good!
Then there's the popular songs by awful artists with really bad lyrics but really catchy music.

Most of the rock and foreign things I tend to find. >_> Not that they're bad or anything, but allow me to explain:
Those "cool kids" tend to throw lots of crap my way when I find something rockish that I think is just plain awesome.
"Ehhh? But you're black...!"
Haaaaa. Makes me want to say I listen to rap all the time so everyone will get off my freakin' back. So annoying. I still tend to like whatever anyway, I just won't turn to anyone I don't know for a musical connection, I guess.

Does It Offend You, Yeah?
I'd be shunned by some friends if they knew. But whatever, they have some songs with awesome beats.
