hmm... that's a bit hard. there are so many!
at the moment, probably either Uwasa no Midori-kun by Ikeyamada Go, Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero by Shinjo Mayu (she also wrote Akuma na Eros and Haou Airen, but I like this one the best), or yeah- Vampire Knight by Hino Matsuri.

Personally, I enjoy reading mangas with significant meaning/realism. Or else I feel like I'm just wasting my time. Of course, this means a few of my picks has quite a bit of angst... ^.^;
-
Vampire Knight: Love her art, always have. Completely enjoyed the angsty past traumas and the twists in the story. I am a ZeroxYuuki fan, so the hope that maybe they'll get together (and not be one of those "my first love is my true love" clicheed mangas) keeps me waiting for the next chapter.
-
Othello: Blew my mind of the window. I picked it up on a whim and really didn't expect anything from it, but it is amazing. The entire story wasn't overly long, and you can tell that the mangaka thought about every detail before writing it.
-
Hana Kimi: I didn't expect to like it at all, but it was just so cute. I like how, unlike some other gender blenders, (cough that soccer Midori-whatever manga) Mizuki actually tries to look like a guy. It's just....Awwwww <3
-
Tokyo Crazy Paradise: It is one of the first mangas I ever read, and has set the bar extremely high. It's funny, and entertaining. I like how the heroine is strong and can fend for herself (and the guy sometime, too XD). This of course, leads us into:
-
Skip Beat!: Yeah, it's getting too long, but its ranks pretty high on my plot and character development meter. Unlike some people, I like how Kyoko doesn't rise to fame in, like, 2 volumes. She has some major issues when it comes to love, and it's pretty funny watching her take one step forward, stick her foot in her mouth, and hops five steps back.
-
Fruits Basket: A classic. Angsty, drama, extraordinary plot and concept, loved every character (even Akito, in the end). What else can I say?
I'll revise this when I have time. 😀
I only got like a few major shoujo mangas which I love with all my heart.
1.Hana Kimi - amazingly well written and funny like hell.[Love you sano!]
-
Power - [somehow I Love crossdressing girls]
-
Koukou Debut [completely love the characters and the plot line. [LOVE YOU YOH!] it's amazing and well written as well.
-
Imadoki! - love it and well, I just love it. hehe.
-
Fruits Basket - Yeah!, even if it's long like hell, it's amazing and good plotline, the characters are amazing, well i only liked certain ones but overall it was amazing and emotional.
-
Beast Master - I love when something makes me laugh, so yeah. Enough said.
-
Ai no Tame NI - wish this was like a whole series instead of certain oneshots. I used to hate girls who were all girlie and all, I still do, but these oneshots are an exception.
-
Skip Beat - Yeah man I Idolized this girl, thought she's dense as hell and can't realize how much this guy loves her, it's still amazing and am looking forward to the end=D
I guess that's all the major shoujo mangas I love, geez so short. Need to find more=D 🤣
Love all the main Male characters, so sexy!><

I laugh at the fact that some people think I''s and Ah! My Goddness are shojo. Those types have the very obvious male-targeted content, unlike some elusive shonen titles. If the authors wanted them to be shojo, they should have drawn bishonen and smut for the manga. I am sure they would probably attract females readers even if everything else remained the same.
Shojo titles I think are good:
God Child and Boys Next Door by Yuki Kaori
Natsume Yujincho
Night Exile by Akino Matsuri
Kiruto by Takahashi Miyuki
Trinity Blood
All with male protagonists. And I was very impressed by a couple of works by Momochi Reiko, esp. the one where a group of teenagers form a "business" and sell the girls' used panties to some old men (not sure about the name sorry). It's truly unique, exploring serious and complex social issues in a thiller way, with shocking ending.
Great choice of shoujos you got there! I love them too! Its not the typical cliche shoujo types..
as for me.
Godchild (yes..its EPIC)
Antique Romance
Ludwig Kakumei
I also adore works by Midorikawa Yuki esp. Scarlet chair and Hotaru no koe.
The Josei mangas by Mitsukazu Mihara. Cute mangas like Karakuri Odette and the works by Ogura Akane. The best smut would be the smut by Yoshihara Yuki.
and for the record, I fucking HATE the smuts by Shinju Mayu and Minami Kanan.. and I find their mangas + Desire Climax, Hot Gimmick, Love Monster and several other shoujo one-shots VERY VERY OFFENSIVE to me.
UPDATING MY OLD POST ON SHOUJO MANGAS:
Currently
Basara, 7 seeds and Princess are my top favourite shoujo mangas!
and then followed by other 'shoujos'..Death song, Antique romance, Vampire knight (the latter volumes), 1001 nights, Ludwig kakumei and God child
Each of them are so unique in their own way!
