So I went on Amazon today to see if they have the books (I had previously bought volume 2 from them for about 10 dollars along with some other manga) and I see the prices are just RIDICULOUS now.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks& field-keywords=my+dearest+devil+princess&x=0&y=0

volume 3 goes for 1000 USDconfused wtf? volume 1 and 2 are expensive too just not nearly as much.

anyone know what's going on with this?

I find there are often ridiculous prices on amazon for out-of-print books, whether they're actually rare or not. If you check a few sites (ebay, amazon, abebooks, etc.) regularly, you can usually get a cheap price if you're patient enough.

Technically since Brocolli is dead, the books aren't in print... so it's a load of crap if they have it for 1000 bucks... especially manga.
