Picture this scenario. Haruto finds out eba is a single mom, struggling on her own. Divulges some time to help her out with the kid. Neglects his girl friend because he is helping eba. In his moment of stupidity he gets back together with eba the single mom. Then...................
I punch my pc screen, lunge at my keypad in a frenzy, screem and beat my chest like an ape and find my self buying a new pc because of the manga.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

If that's true..then it makes you wonder who she slept with while she was with Haruto..and how he'd feel knowing she was with someone else the whole time. Finding out she was an unfaithful tramp would probably help Haruto turn her away and stay with Asuka... Hey, I can hope.

Kinda saw that coming when the idea of a mixer came up. I mean it was either some new girl was gonna get tossed in or Eba makes her return. Well... iunno... Seriously hope the mom theory doesn't become a reality. I don't recall Haruto and Eba ever doing it. And I might be a heartless bastard, but I don't like the idea of another guy's left over...

If the theory about her going back to Tokyo because of a secret pregnancy is to be believed, I don't think it could be Kazama's

One of the theories about it I actually read suggested that the father of such a baby would actually be Eba's Step-Brother. The theory was the Step-Brother was raping/molesting her and that's why he seemed close to Eba while her Step-Sister and Step-Mother showed indifference or even hostility towards Eba. It also explained why Haruto was naturally cautious of the Step-Brother and even struck him and why she started dating Kazama (Kazama was actually around and thus able to protect her from the Step-Brother).

Personally I can accept the possibility of a secret baby. But I'm not ready to buy the Step-Brother rape angle. If such was the case, Eba never would've invited him (and Rin) to Hiroshima when she was still living with Haruto's family. Second with Kazama being such good friends with Aoi and Asuka I'm pretty sure such a scenario would've come up in conversation. I also think Kazama would've told Haruto, either when they were sitting on that river bank (or grassy knoll at the race track I can't remember) and Haruto was talking about Eba (obviously before they found they both knew Eba) or Kazama would've almost certainly told Haruto about it after Haruto declared to Eba and Kazama that he was going to fight for and win back Eba.


Honestly even though I'm the one that originally put forth the secret pregnancy theory (although I should point out it wasn't my theory, I only relayed it) here I don't believe she has a baby. Granted that still leaves open the question as to why Eba did what she did to Haruto.

One theory I read that I'm much more willing to believe is that Eba's father was having financial difficulty and there was an arranged marriage of sorts but Eba was still in love with Haruto and thus refused but the potential groom was attempting to woo Eba and thus was bothering her so she started dating Kazama, a larger, rather intense-looking fella, to sort of scare the lad away. In such a scenario the thing Rin wanted Haruto to come inside to see was the discussion about the marriage between Eba's father and the other family. Because Eba didn't want to marry the guy that is why she was already hiding in her room when Haruto knocked on the door. Also under this scenario when she said to Haruto "I'm not as good a girl as you think I am", she said this because she knew she was using a dying Kazama's affections for her own "selfish" reasons.

I Honestly don't want an incest in this manga...so if thats true I think I'll seriously drop this if Eba is the end-girl or even not
