Hello, My name is TheMadCat.

I start getting into anime about 4-5 years ago because college classmate shown me Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. After watching those two anime I started watching anime. Today I have watch 286 completed show , unfinished/etc 105 shows, and 68 completed anime movies.

One day I couldn't find any anime to watch that interest me so I was think what the hell why not give manga another try. I was very anti-manga but lacking anything els to watch I gave manga called Saijou no Meii a try. I really like it so I look for other manga that fit my taste. That was about month and a few weeks ago. I still a newbie in manga however I believe I become super manga newbie as of this posting I have completed reading 26 manga, waiting for more chp on 128 manga, and on hold are 28 manga. (What can I say I had shit load of time during month off college...) See my list for what manga I have read. I don't think I will every place what chp I'm on. To much work. I use good old windows notepad for that.

From those manga u can tell I'm into action, Shounen, Adventure, and Fantasy which are the main type of manga I like. I don't read manga thats being animed (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc). I don't care to read old manga because I can't stand old drawing.

Added information about me is I'm mod on another website called anime6.org website and anime6/movie6 chatango chat. (Anime6 website is down right now. ANY question about it please go to Movie6.net/forum which anime6 is sister to. Any question by pm/post asking about anime6 will be ignored. This is mangaupdates.com website not anime6.)

That about it for my intro. If you have any manga recommendations that fits my tastes please tell me. I'm having hard time finding manga to read now.

that sure is a lot of anime youve watched. im surprised you could count all of 'em.
my current favorite anime is soul eater and before d gray man was canceled, that was the favorite.
i recommend fairy tail, soul eater, priest, mahou sensei negima, d.gray-man, pumpkin scissors pluto, ubel blatt, and black lagoon
those are my personal favorites.

Already animed: Soul Eater, Mahou Sensei Negima, Pumpkin Scissors, and Black Lagoon. I don't read manga thats been animed. What can I say I still like anime better.

umm the pumpkin scissors, negima and black lagoon animes cant compare to the mangas. black lagoon not so much, but the other two were horrible. whatever. ciao!

Tips on how to use the site:

-Use the "Search Forums" button you see above to find any topics you might wanna talk about so as to avoid making repeat threads

-The List function is very useful in keeping track of manga you're reading, you wanna read or finished reading. You can see other people's lists as well in their profile if they made them public.

-On the User CP you can block out certain genres from the releases page if you don't wanna see stuff such as hentai, yaoi, yuri, etc.

-In addition to blocking out certain genres you can also search for manga with certain genres you want using the Genre Search function.
