I'm looking for a supernatural/fantasy action manga where the maincharacter is at first ignorant of anything to do with supernatural/fantasy stuff, but then something happens and they become aware of it and are forced to become apart of it.

Its a pretty cliche theme in the shounen, and I assume it comes up once or twice in the senien.

Some examples of what I'm looking for are: Black God, psyren, Bleach, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, Immortal Regis, Watashi no Messiah-sama, gantz, etc

World Embryo exactly what you're looking for.
Elfen Lied aware: very high violence.
Mx0 it's more a harem shounen than an action shounen but it's still worth.

I second Alive.

I've read alive, mx0 and elfen lied. Out of the 3 I liked alive more than the other two.. mx0 was nice but not intense/mature/serious enough and elfen lied was a bit too twisted and depressing.

You should try World Embryo then. It's similar to Alive, at least for some aspects, even if they are a seinen and a shounen.
