Well... I probably stick longer with manga that has a good plot, but sometimes I don't mind a weak plot if the art is amazing, like in Alichino. eyes

The art is very important for me. If the art fails...I won't consider reading the manga even if the plot is interesting. I read manga for their beautiful art. If it's just for the plot, I can stick to some novels.

I used to decide which mangas i read based on the art
after coming across so many mangas with nice art and no substance (in the plot), i've come to change my mind

i pick plot. if the art's pretty with no plot line, there's really no point in reading the manga.

If the art isn't good ,I won't even bother reading it.The plot may be good and all,but I just can't read something when I hate the art!

If the art is really good , but the plot sucks, I may consider reading it anyways.

i prefer pretty arts but for me it's not the most important element of a manga embarrassed
i'll read a manga as long as it has a good plot

I perfer a good plot to good art, so if the art is good, but the plot sucks i won't read it.

I prefer a nice art. I like to draw manga myself.. so its pretty important. But of course if the story sucks there is no meaning in reading it.
For example Vampire Knight.. the art is superb but the story just got to obscure.

I think plot is slightly more important than art. If the story's not interesting, it doesn't matter how great the drawings are. Even if the art is not done well, I will still finish it.

I've noticed that when the art is better, I tend to invest myself more emotionally and I really get into the story. Examples would be Mekakushi no Kuni, works by Sahara Mizu, Mars, etc etc.

Wonky proportions tend to bother me, so even while I do read a lot of manga with not-so-great art, I enjoy the ones with better art more.

I like a little bit of both.I mean, seriously, if you wanna read a story, might as well have everything you want in it,right? So the art should be pretty decent.I like plots thats light-hearted,but somewhat teaches a lesson or makes you realize something. When i'm feeling down i read stories that makes you treasure life. But yeah, the answer is pretty clear:i need both.

Art helps. I think a manga needs good art no matter what. I don't want to look at stick figures while I read the plot. but, if the story sucks, I will stop reading it too.

The most important thing is plot, it has to be interesting and not lose my attention. But if the art is absolutely horrible I wont consider it either . Plot is more important than the art, but art is still important.

Plot is the most important thing. I was disapponted several times by great art with stupid plot. Of course, I give some points to art too. Especially bodies. I can´t read something with bad drawn bodies. Like Tokyo crazy paradise and Kodomo no omocha. But I rate most by plots, not art.

In deciding to try a new manga, I consider the art first. I'm very picky when it comes to art, which I prefer to be at least proportional and consistent, because it makes the manga more appealing. Still, the plot is the most important factor because a well developing plot will keep me in reading it. I don't want to waste time on wonderfully drawn manga while the story goes no where. But even with a good story, I will not enjoy it fully if the art is so bad.
