Yandere is the opposite of Tsundere, isn't it? From the outside yanderes are kind and gentle but they could go insane anytime. They are like a walking time bomb. Tsunderes are hard and noisy but they have a caring and cute side.
I prefer Tsunderes...I don't want to be killed out of the blue XD

Mio would qualify as well, but the dere is pretty close to the surface. First impression generally leaves people think she's cool, but as they get to know her...

I take it that those who have voted for the yandere have never experienced the "joys" of one in real life. Any time I read about one in manga, I have to hide in a corner for a while. I do not get nightmares from tsundere characters, but I do not really enjoy them either. So, neither.

Alright. Perhaps we just have a difference of opinion. But, when she broke into my house, took a few things and left a little note on my pillow (while I was sleeping)...I did not feel that it was that "exciting." It made me want to sleep in my attic.

I just figured out why tsundere girls might appeal to hikkikomori so much. It's the implication that girls who reject them actually want them. Heh.

People really do prefer the tsundere type!
Well- I definitely go with 'neither' - I don't like extremities of anything.
But I wonder whether its okay for me to vote...'cause I'm a girl, and as far as I know, those two terms refer to females; girls talking about their preferences for girls is kind of weird.
