yup...
I was out at the movie theater with a friend of mine and his girl,
so my friend and I were buying the popcorn while his girlfriend went to go grab seats... The lady behind the counter somehow (?) got my gender confused and asked how long we'd been together...

I cant freaking help it if im short... mad
that wasnt the first time either... It hurts my pride

I don't think it's happened to me but a friend wanted me to pretend we were together. I didn't really get the point of that.

It happened a few times... It's probably because my brother and I don't look one bit alike.....But I think that the worst confusion people have made on us was when they thought of us as a gay couple. Sure, I admit I can look like a guy sometimes, but a gay couple...that cracked me up. XD

Oh, that happens to me a lot too. People always think I'm with my brother when we go out in public. It doesn't make much sense since he's eight years older than me, and we look so much alike that it's scary. One would think that people would be able to figure out we're related...

One of my friends (who is a guy) is always mistaken for being my lover. XD But that's not nearly as embarrassing as my brother and I being mistaken.

Hmm one time at Uni i went out with a bunch of girls (who i barely got on with) and a drunken bum in the street told me 'you're hell lucky to have such a pretty girl!' I was like 'ehh? she's not my girl o.o'

Another time...I call around to my (male) friend's house...cause i needed a hug, he comes to hang out and in the road i ask for a hug...we hug...then i see him waving to his house? Turns out his parents were staring at us through the top window...so i waved and then LOL at the event...
Since then his dad gives a lot of abuse about it >_< such things as calling me a 'Homo' and he makes comments like 'why don't you go kiss your boyfriend!' one time...Totally over-done.

It's not my fault if i wanted a hug and i didn't have any girl-friends so i had to hug a guy. It might not be relevant but i also got asked 'are you brothers' with the friend...many many times -.-

Other than that...nothing special...I could guess it would be fairly easy for brother/sister to be mistaken for going out if they went shopping a lot or to the cinema or stuff like that...i don't go places with my sister so i'm okay bigrazz

Yeah, people think me and my sister are a couple sometimes. It's kind of weird.

My late great aunt suspected my cousin and I of being incestual lesbians until the day she died. I have no idea why.

Polite bump.

Nope, that never happened to me. I wonder why... Oh, I know! I won't tell, though. embarrassed But if it did happen, I wouldn't mind that much... I mean, if I like the person, then I would actually consider that as a compliment! o,o If they're not family related.

This thread -.-;;;

Yes, definitely. One time in particular I got mistaken as my close cousin's girlfriend, and I just about died right on the spot. D: D: D:

My sister and brother get mistaken for a couple all the time though. It's horrible. Much more when they were younger, but people just wouldn't let it go. What makes it worse is that she has a kid that looks just like him. People assume, and it gets weird.
