It's already tedious, I mean, they have one step into searching one piece, and then they find this huge villain that takes them like 100 chapters to defeat, and then they are in track again like for 5 chapters, and another villain.....

I think it'll end up going longer than Inuyasha. Inuyasha already seems to be close to done, but One Piece has a helluva long way to go.

Oda already stated that he knows how the series will end, though this was a while ago.
Quite frankly it's not as tedious as other series, there's plenty of room to explore since the whole One Piece world was set up from the get go from bad guys to the ultimate bad guys. Getting through to all of them might take a while but it's been worth it all the way, never been pissed off at any of the chapters like other series and hope it can stay that way.
I like how it runs on its own formula and you know what to expect yet they surprise you every time on how they carry it out.

It doesn't matter if it has an endless plot. I mean in the sense that it doesn't ruin anything. Even if they found OP it doesn't need to end. It prob won't.

I'm already a little bored of the fight scenes, I rush through them to get to the story.

I don't care if One Piece goes on for another decade to tell you the truth. As long as it has all the aspects it has now (humor, touching scenes, cool fights, etc.) and moves a long with the plot, I'm happy. Inuyasha became tedious imo because the plot kept circling around (power-up, defeat, power-up, defeat...). It makes me want scream, "Just find Naraku already and KILL him!" At least One Piece moves onto different islands of Grand Line. Getting to the last one is the goal isn't it?
I find this manga tedious. >.< I don't look forward to the next chapter. The only reason I'm reading it, are the chapters between each evil boss. They are usually the most interesting, and reveal a lot of information...

Most really long mangas eventually get tedious although this does amaze me everytime.

If you're comparing to other manga of the day. Then its already gone farther without pissing me off because it sucks so hard. Bleach is nothing but a disappointment after they came back from soul society and naruto is on shaky ground. one piece somehow doesn't get old. maybe its the jokes.
