Skip Beat!
I'll never read that thing because the art burns my eyes but that's just me being shallow. I'm sure the story's okay, yeah. 😐

Special A. The female lead is an idiot.
This was the first thing that came to my mind without reading any of the other replies.

It seems like almost no one likes Special A, and I can't say I disagree. I tried to plow through it, but it didn't even hold my interest enough for me to skip to the end.
I also just could not read Kaichou wa Maid-Sama. I can't even remember why, but something about it really turned me off.
I used to adore Fruits Basket... five years ago. It was the first manga I read, so I guess I just had no taste at that point. Even then, the lead's ditziness, "kindness", and general stupidity drove me up the wall. The plot is so-so, draggy, and all the twists were foreshadowed extremely overtly. I guess I'm just older than the target audience now.

Pretty much everything you guys said, I liked. I guess its because I tend to just like reading and don't hate something too often.
I really loved Usotsuki Lily, its rather hillarious when you notice its a gag manga and that it completely breaks the fourthwall. As a writer I approve of it! Lol.
Skip Beat, because the drawings are horrid...Just horrid. Black Bird because it could have had the chance to be amazing yet went the Twilight route.
I guess I hate a vast majority of shojou manga because pretty much all the MC's are weak and the male leads are complete as$holes.
My favorites are Red River, Usotsuki Lily, Saver, Kare Kano, and Taiyou no Ie.

I totally disliked Special A with burning passion. I even got involved in a fight with my sister and her friends coz they were about to marathon SA anime in our house. But i didn't allowed it coz i just cant let the electric watts go to waste by being spend on that horrid SA.
So i really find it ironic that one of my fave manga atm is Last Game. Both SA and Last Game have "rivalry" and "female lead is so dense but the male lead is still in love with her anyway" themes. But the difference is, i just dont get Hikari's "dense-ness". I mean, she's good in making friends and socializing with other people but why cant be she awared of Kei's feelings. While Kujou, the female lead of Last Game, is really bad on dealing with other people and her dense-ness, i guess, comes from the fact that all those years she was only focus on her single mother, her studies, and her part-time job.
I really have big hope for Last Game. Also hoping that it wont take a longer route and by the end of the series give me a crappy ending just like SA.

I just never could get into Vampire Knight--not even in the very beginning. It seemed a bit too dark and melodramatic for me. I just never could stand it.

Ugh, I've stopped reading most Shoujo romance at this point. I still read Shoujo, but preferably those that Don't focus on romance.
Series that I liked at first, but went downhill later on:
- Skip Beat: it was great until it started dragging and dragging and dragging...
- 1/2 prince: it was so badass at first. Then it turned into this awkward harem.
- Vampire Knight: I liked this in Part 1. Then it got really weird.
- Gakuen Alice: gosh, same-ish as above.
Irritating stuff:
- Special A: wtf, she didn't ever win once. Not a single time.
- Kaichou Wa Maid Sama
- Hana Yori Dango
- Watashi ni XX shinasai
- Anything with badly-written abusive males, which includes...
- Most stuff by Hwang Mi Ri
Boring stuff:
- Ouran Host Club
- Fruits Basket
- Kimi ni Todoke (I really don't get this one)
- Kare Kano
There are a whole bunch of others that I dropped out of boredom, but didn't particularly irritate me either.
Now, a series that I Should read, but never managed to get far into, is Basara. I love 7 Seeds, so I'm pretty sure the series is well-written, but the premise keeps scaring me off every time I try to pick up the series again. xD

Special A
Boys Over Flower
I loath both of these!! Someone recommend them to me and each cases gave me the first chapter and I was all like "it seems awesome." Then when you buy the book you see main charater is such a !#&!*. I mean I read Boys Over Flower and Special A thinking it would be about a girl with empowerment and achieving stuff WRONG!!! I was totally WRONG!!! It was just a waste of my good money!!
Vampire Knight
Black Bird
Dengeki Daisy
I just don't like those. Most things I dislike I drop and middle and block them with my amazing brain power.
Sailor Moon
Shugo Chara!
Nana
Akagami no Shirayukihime
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
The ones I like and remember.

I hated Kanata Kara. So many people praised it highly, but I was sorely disappointed. I did, however, enjoy Dengeki Daisy and I've seen Kaichou as Maid-sama and Ouran High School Host Club the animea, and they were decent fluff.

I dropped Black Bird and Switch Girl out of boredom.
